    Hard to say really.

The board will look at the European packages being snapped up as well as a good chunk of fans going in for kick off at Killie and see that as recourse to sweep it under the rug as a loud minority.

I know the protests are only just getting started but they need to be far more impactful than they currently are and they also require more presence from the non-Ultras groups.

It is only beginning.. but the joint letter, first meeting at Grace's.. and the idea if 12 person 'steering group' made up of all the different facets of our support, shows a degree of unity against the board we've not seen since 94..

Finding a common ground for action that we all agree with, that is also effective to push for change, will be the challenge.

Unity will be our strength and it can't lose momentum even if we win a treble this season.

I think the acid test will be the uptake of the Europa the package. If there is an obvious shortfall then it will show the board that this is not just the angry minority ultras but the majority of fans who want change however, if fans do choose to accept the Europa package then those fans are not only willing to accept mediocrity, but will allow the feckers on the board to think they are untouchable and our club will continue to underachieve in Europe and perhaps even domestically

I don't think a boycott of the Europa League has been arranged quickly enough, for it to be effective. The Ultra groups haven't committed to boycotting and most fans in the HTCS will have seen their 1st payment come out today.

It gas to be universal, as much as possible to be effective.

Pressure needs to keep being applied. Rodgers and the player's quality should not let them escape their failings.

Further email I got yesterday. Steering group met last night so a further update will come out of that.

No word yet on another meeting involving all fan groups, however I think the number if signatories will have grown substantially.

Watching just how far we have regressed in Europe while teams such as USG, Bruggeg and Pafos, etc, have all progressed is clear evidence of how the board have neglected the development of the club and hopefully those fans who, for some reason, are hesitant in joining the protests, will, as the bunnet said, wake up and smell the coffee

Thank you Mr Shelby for your sterling work and informative updates. I doffed my imaginary cap to Sir!:notworthy

Although still in its infancy I feel having a collective to get behind and a clear indication of intent and the direction of action will be vital and bring everyone together in obtaining a satisfactory outcome. One Club, one cause, one Celtic...

A united Celtic Family is a formidable force. Say it loud, say it proud "Back the team, Sack the board :50:"

Think we need to patient its going to take a bit of time to be properly organised, it wil be worthwhile and much more effective with everyone singing from the same Hymn sheet

My assumption is that this steering group, the branding it will come under, will become the main thing.

I'd not be expecting another (at least not often) meeting like last week with everyone included in such a manner.

More that each group will likely have their own way of collecting information/questions/feelings and feed it back to the steering group who will be holding their own meetings in a more structured and focused way.
    If that makes sense?

For me, this new group is gonna be "Celts For Change" sort of group and the group we should all be getting behind.

With that said, it's represented by 12 folk from across the spectrum and if they intend on having elections for members to it, it should be fairly widely accepted.
So with that also said, we should all be getting behind this. Even if there is the odd part we don't personally agree with (dislike someone on the board, not fully sold on an action being taken), we all need to unite under it and pull in the same direction.

I've not took the package as our csc isn't taking theirs. As the guy who runs the club says 'we can't put our name on the letter then take the packages, so * them'.
It'll probably just get sold to someone else mind, but it's a start. Changes need made.

Bit frustrating that the call for change keeps getting described in the msm as "off the back of the transfer window" and not qualifying for the CL. Just validates the opinions of folk who want to label the support as entitled and overreacting.

There's a failure to grasp that this is/was the tipping point for years of underachieving and falling behind the times. I hope the steering group make it clear in future statements that they want to see the club performing to it's best potential in Europe and modernising to the standards of other similar clubs on the continent.

It's not simply about money spent on transfers (the cash at bank is a big issue) but structural changes and improvements needed to just get to the basic level of where we should be as a supposed "world class, Champions League club" to borrow the board's own rhetoric.

I understand that nobody is going to give up their season ticket, as getting it back would be difficult. I thought that coming off the HCTS would be the best option. Most people i know are staying on it, thought it would be the most likely option were everybody would stick together as could re join next season. The amount of people staying on it & people going in to the game before the 12th minute on Sunday shows not everybody is together on this. I can just see the club looking at the amount of tickets bought for the Europa & the people standing in the stand on Sunday at kick off & thinking this will fizzle out.

I think its about this fans of football clubs start hounding rich people that dont care about the clubs the * out. Even huns and West Ham have that right.

The fact that fans of clubs start doing this is because the game have been infiltrated completely by people that have absolutely no clue about actual football.
