Wouldn't even take him. He's a shadow of the player he was, and even then he wasn't a world beater.

Let's be honest he was * quality at the top of his game.

Those are numbers that most wingers playing now would dream of at the highest level.

He's similar to Tierney and potentially what might happen to Lamal in that he's been relied on to play 40/50 games a season since his teens. Sterling even younger than Tierney when he was playing with Liverpool.

Fair enough. I thought he was effective because he had a lot of pace, which is now gone, and he's also lost that maverick style/mentality he had back at Liverpool. Guardiola squeezed every bit of potential out of him and I think he's regressed heavily season upon season since he lost his place in their team. He's minted and coasting - no desire from him to go again (imo).

Futile discussion anyway as it's likely complete BS.

Could this be the signing that would raise eyebrows but we never managed to complete in time?

I do agree tbf his game was largely based on pace.

Was just responding in regards to him not being a world beater. For me he was a top top player at one point and consistently turned up for City.

As I say I think he peaked in his younger years ala Rooney, Ronaldinho etc. Not as good as them, ofc.

He's turned down bigger clubs than us because he refuses to leave London ffs

  16. 31 in December, not as fast as he used to be. His family are settled in London.

This is just some made up pish.
