There is still a fair amount of unknowns like exact fees received for players and exact fees paid, what the breakdown of that actually is in terms of when we paid the money etc.

Another his how much of the Barrowfield project did we still have to pay and when will/has that been paid?

You can take a ratio on costs for the second half of the year, they are often not far off double what the first half was.

Another income uncertainty is how much CL cash under the new league phase model was awarded by the interims vs the second half of the year?

Total sales volumes for tickets in domestic cup matches, should be a positive as all our ties were at home but given we need to split those with the away side what does that mean for accurate figures.

Operating costs were £105m last year and likely closer to £110-115m this year. Revenue will have increased from £125m probably to at least £135m. But the other factors on player trading won’t make it easy to accurately predict our final out turn.

Remember they announced last August they were expecting record income last season even then they knew they were going to far surpass the previous year.

I actually think our turnover last season will be close to if not even over £150million. It was £125million the year before and season ticket prices went up, merchandise prices went up, food up, we signed a new Adidas deal thats probably £2million a year more or whatever it would be, it could also include 2 sets of pre-season tours was it the USA in 2024 and the Cup thing this year, the UEFA money went up, there was 5 home CL games instead of 3, there was extra bonus for getting to the next round of the CL, maybe sponsor/adidas bonus, we also had a lot of home cup games and with higher prices and more people going to home cup games than ever cause the numbers on the hcts. Even for the Cup semis and finals and probably even the CL games the hospitality prices went up and they probably sold even more hospitality than usual to rake more in. Even things like the stadium tours would be up by being in the CL, more European games and tourists plus our own fans cause we had the 3 trophies pretty much the whole year more people go for photos.

If they have used player trading to hide the money it will be blatantly there as well and transparent that's what they've done. You'd put money on them doing that. Technically we could have sold £70million worth of players and signed £30million but in the accounts our cash balance could be down £10million form it, if we only accepted £10million up front and paid out £20million up front. Where as most clubs would do their usual type business and end up with maybe £20million more technically we'd be £10million down. A quick and easy way to make £100million look like £70million. But we'll be able to look and see that the money we are owed went up £50million and the money we owed is down £20million.

Wether they done that or not, it's blatant that we are absolutley rolling in more money than we can spend.

I don’t disagree with any of that essentially that’s why I said we could have £100m but in previous years it would appear we have done some of the player trading tricks to keep that number down. Time will tell and it probably won’t be long to they are out.

Self manufacturing a Newcastle situation just so we can blame someone else for not spending money they never spent in the first place.

Are they stockpiling in preperation to move out of the scottish league? Intresting that ACSOM spoke about it today because there was a part in the horrible statement from the club that caught my eye. Dont have time to dig it up now but it was something about the FFP rule that we can't spend much "While we play in Scotland" or something. Maybe just me thinking to much but would not surprise me.

I would HATE the idea to move to the english league. Absolutely kill the spirit of the club.

Would not be able to stand going from not seeing a Celtic strip in Sweden to seing thousands of "Fans" suddenly pop up.
