He seems very humble, almost shy, not quite what I expected. It's endearing though. Might be wrong but he does seem, as Brendan says, that he's someone who really needs an arm round the shoulder and to feel loved. Doubt he had that as Sevilla or Middlesbrough.

Who knows, might just end up a smart piece of business.

He's arrived overweight, and potentially disenfranchised with how his career had been unravelling...

But a few weeks to get his fitness sorted, some sharp performances off the bench and chipping in with a few goals and we HOPEFULLY have a very astute acquisition here.

So many similarities to when Sinclair came, in terms of the player being a bit lost.

Sinclair always said how important it was for him to find a home to play at his best and that happened here.

 

Showed huge bottle to take that pen. Would’ve been very easy for him to hide away and let someone else take it given the circumstances. He looked ok when he came on tbh, offers something different and will only get better with more games.

 

Hope he turns out as good as our last striker who scored a winning penalty on his debut ...
