    Really decent potential on football manager 24 though mate, not Celtic quality right enough but a good player with well rounded attributes. I'm not sure what his true numbers are in real life and have never seen him play, still a great scouting contribution from me though as always.

    Incorrect.

    I supported both the Hart and Sinclair signings. Those signings made sense for a variety of reasons and it was clear that we wanted them at the time.

    Completely different to this deal. If we wanted him, we could have gotten him 8 weeks ago. Sevilla never wanted him. He’s never been prolific his entire career. Scoring double figures once in his career. Shocking signing given our resources.

    My issue with this signing isn't really about the fact he hasn't had any recent form to point to tbh. We've seen in the past that players can come here and rejuvenate themselves.

    It's the fact that we have brought in about 35m worth from selling 3 attackers yet dicked about the entire summer and ended up scrambling to sign him as a free agent.

    Nothing against him. If we'd signed him on a free as a punt whilst having Kyogo and Dolberg or some other good combination then fine. Great.

    But as it stands we are really having to rely on him hitting form and it's just reeking of desperation.

    As always, with time, folk will no doubt be less annoyed but it's still quite raw for me. These * are at it and he's a symbol of that so probably why he will not get much sympathy. Rightly or wrongly, because as I say, it isn't his fault.
