Something along those lines is about the only scenario I could see where I would even consider passing on Desmond has to go as well. But even then I still feel we need new investors who actually are ambitious for the club on and off the field and have actual plans to grow us on and off the field and an actual strategy that they share and we can get behind to accomplish the plans.

Dermot can still be here with the right footballing structure in place. I’ve only heard good things about Nicholson as a person, but as you say he is way out his depth and there might be a place for him in another role.

I’ve pointed my finger specifically at Nicholson because he’s the CEO and the buck stops with him. He should have the spine to tell Lawwell to get * when Lawwell is trying to interfere with strategies.

I think it’s paramount we get Lawwell completely removed from the club for good and replace Nicholson with a vertebrate CEO.

Tbh don't think Nicholson would have that level of power. If he starts an internal scrap with Lawwell it would be Nicholson falling on his sword. Probably down to the relationship between Desmond and Lawwell.
