Wish Adam Idah nothing but the best. He gave us some great memories and scored some vital goals. He can definitely look back on his time at Celtic with pride. Probably didn't have the mentality to deal with being a Celtic player and the expectations long term so best for him to move on now and hopefully he does well.

The Celtic manager was asked about Adam Idah after the striker completed a move to Swansea City on deadline day.

He said, "Adam was a player who hadn't asked to leave. Swansea wanted him around same time as other possibilities could have happened for us. We didn't want to lose him. It looked as though it would be one out, one in, but that didn't happen for whatever reason.

The guy may end up as being the tipping point in the Rodgers/Lawwell battle. Rodgers was clear he wasn’t to go without a replacement in and they sold him anyway. Following the coward press conference maybe it will in the end do us a huge favour. It wasn’t working out for him here, but he may have helped bring about change
