There’s no doubt in my mind he’s been on the phone with Brendan recently almost everyday

Desmond If he can fix the problem he’ll step in like the hero he believes he is

Do you think Brendan knows who the leak is?

That is the best press conference I've ever seen him give.

Reading between the lines, it seems quite likely I was completely wrong about the role of Lawwell in all this.

    What do you think

Someone speaking to Alan Preston who then tells Roger Hannah

Hugh Keevins saying person X told him via phone call that Person X isn’t responsible for transfers

Off the record briefing happening a wee bit more

The smirk and wink says it all. Think it will be pretty clear over the next few weeks when a few are out the door.

He just gave a masterclass in how to say "Peter Lawwell" without once mentioning the name "Peter Lawwell".

Was just about to post the exact same thing.

Handled like a complete pro. Saying he wants a new deal with the condition of aligned philosophies is a complete power move

Didn't you see that little wink when asked? He knows and he told us without uttering a name. It was all in who he didn't give a mention.......

Feel a bit sorry for Nicholson and McKay.

Working on Christmas day means their own families like them even less than we do.

Man, it's a * of an interview. Both of them, actually. No punches pulled.

Glad everyone else noted that he praised everyone other than Lawwell. Everyone got the 'good guy' treatment, leaving Lawwell hanging as the presumed 'coward'. Pointed right at him by deliberately not pointing at him. Masterfully done.

And he's spilt the beans on the Idah and Maeda situations, as well as confirming promises were broken to him about the state of recruitment. And calling for the 'leaker' to resign.

Honestly the best interview I can remember a Celtic manager giving.

Can anyone who ever called BR a rat please take their medicine?

For my part, I never did call him that.

I knew exactly why he left last time and I was gutted when he did.

Lenny inherited his team and dragged the next treble over the line, but with BR in charge, Sevco would never have stopped the ten.

He is a true Celtic man, from a Celtic-daft family.

    I hope people realise this.

Rodgers walked out on us when we were baw deep in the middle of a treble. At the time I was fumin, how could a so called Celtic fan do this. Now a bit older and wiser and seeing the same pish happen again I have a lot more sympathy for the guy. Im still not a huge fan of his but I understand why he left. He’s ambitious and our board are they farthest thing away from that.

That presser from Brendan was a masterclass. Hope we can keep him and get him on a new contract, when that * Lawwell * off.

yep, he took overly long to start answering that question because he had to be careful of what he was saying

Brendan played a blinder in that press conference. Fair play to him. I didn't expect that tbh but he has surely put the final nail in Lawwell's coffin. Called out the * without even mentioning him. My manager!!!
