Something along those lines is about the only scenario I could see where I would even consider passing on Desmond has to go as well. But even then I still feel we need new investors who actually are ambitious for the club on and off the field and have actual plans to grow us on and off the field and an actual strategy that they share and we can get behind to accomplish the plans.

Dermot can still be here with the right footballing structure in place. I’ve only heard good things about Nicholson as a person, but as you say he is way out his depth and there might be a place for him in another role.

The problem is clearly Lawwell. The only option for him is to leave and I’d love a really public sacking due to the Sun leak. Dermot coming out and standing by Rodgers. We won’t get that but a man can dream.
