Yeah think this is fair JC

The movement likely needs to be more structured and organised and boycotts an action we take perhaps further down the line. Be that in a few months or if needed next season.
Protests, meetings, media attention etc is the starting point.

I'd love for the stands to be empty for these Europa games to prove a point to them, but with you, can see why some would still go along (regardless of agreement or not).

Don't get me wrong, if supporters have made that decision for themselves, I totally understand.

Just to add, it would definitely need the GB/Bhoys behind it too.. for obvious reasons.

I think it is absolutely disasterous to boycott these games. The most important games of the season for the players. Europe is a big pull for us, especially CL obviously but EL as well. The atmosphere it brings is mentioned by every player in every interview when they sign.

I am HIGHLY confident that it would damage the players directly, making them to want to move away from the club, and it would damage the possibility of signing players.

It would also affect the results in europe massively.

I am fully aware that the board also (more than anyone) affect us negatively on the points above, but there are other ways to protest and other ways to damage then economically such as boycott of all merch and Celtic TV as mentioned before. Also a boycott of all Adidas gear. How would that affect Celtic? Adidas would get so mad that they would pull the deal with Celtic completely.

Aye for sheer numbers of course.
They'll be surely represented on the steering team, along with others from the associations etc.

Best to have as many represented as possible so that the next steps are agreed and followed by large swathes of the support.

If the tickets are going to be snapped up in any case, which I don't doubt, then this would be the only effective course of action. Turn Parkhead into a morgue.

Or if all those who didn't take up the tickets protested outside the stadium while the game was on.

The big clubs might get away with not booking the boat but Stena has the smaller clubs like mine by the balls. Don't take up your allocation on the boat then get smaller allocation for next game. Space on the boat is at a premium and our club usually gets more game tickets than boat spaces.
Some folk won't be to familiar with the ferry companies and the football fans. They seem to think that we give them so much business that they need us, they don't, and wouldn't be to bothered if fans didn't travel. It's all about freight for the ferries.
