The reason I think he’s on a shoogly peg is because he * up from our point of view and from the boards.

Ours is obvious, so no explanation needed.

From the boards point of view, he failed to sell Yang because he once again failed to answer the phone. He failed to sell Maeda and he ultimately spent too much on the players we did get - and he’s probably giving them more per week than he wanted.

He's totally incompetent.. and I think its just a matter of time.

I mean if he actually said, aye fan engagement is on my to do list, *.. :56:

But, there are bigger problems. I expect the pressure will be too much and the rest will hope getting rid of him will pacify us..

It would be a start though.. we would also need Lawwell to announce a planned retirement, too much resentment and mistrust there. Even if that were to come at the end of the season or financial year.

Fan Advisory Group set up too, with agreed monthly meetings, with the Club having no say on who we appoint to that group.

This would be the start and with Trust doing their work with locating lost shares, that would give us a permanent say on the board, with ability to call EGMs and a real voice at AGMs

Whens that agm meeting? Surely they could stop all this mess with 1 simple way. Remove this *. We're needing a rebuild next year. Thats just fact. New manager, many players going onto last year of contracts so will leave. Hes proven he can't be trusted with negotiations. Get him sacked or not re-elected or whatever it is they do. That would be enough to show the fans we mean business. Not that id believe them, but atleast it'll be some way to showing they are half * listening.

    AGM is usually in November..

I don't think he lasts that long.. and I like I said above, getting rid of him would only be the start.

Agree it should be, but still worry though he'll just be the sacrificial lamb for the status quo to continue.

As long as they get a lamb that can answer the phone it'd still be an improvement

I do think he'll be gone, the problem is if the others follow.

This is what I see happening, MN taking the fall then McKay stepping in or someone of that ilk. The old boys club needs broken up and fresh blood in.

Know fine the board will say they need months to find people with the right Celtic ‘interests’ at heart. First stop once outing them is get a top Director of Football in.

We really need to get a fan advisory board set up ASAP.

No real suprise to see stories coming out of the meetings painting him as a complete bumbling idiot.

Want the others gone to but given it's this * job to essentially run the club on a day to day basis, getting him out the door and replaced with a competent, experienced CEO would surely make a massive difference to how we do our business.

Agreed, he should be the first and certainly not last to go. His whole demeanour and attitude to his job typifies what's wrong at board level - out his depth, lazy and unaware.

Fan engagement has to be a major part of the new CEO's remit, and a Director of Football needs brought in as well to get someone appropriately experienced to conduct our transfers.

The absolute minimum to begin with is him and Tisdale getting sacked.

We need actual qualified people in those positions. Not a clown and a former exeter manager.

Lawwell too, even if he has this limited influence I keep hearing about, from an optics perspective he should go.

You may be right on Tisdale and new CEO and Dof might want their own guy in anyway but if his role is to identify talents I'm still not sure how much blame Tisdale should get.
Look at some of the players identified this summer,

    Breum
    Jansson
    Forbs
    Nygren
    Osmund
    Orjasaeter

If he's the one identifying them then I'm fairly happy with the job he's doing. It's not his fault the bumbling clown of a CEO makes lowball offer to these players clubs.

    This was discussed last night.

If we get a fan advisory board in place and kick up enough fuss then anyone new coming in would hopefully be working to a clear remit and would have to answer somewhat to the support.

Currently all they need to do is look after shareholders.

It's what they'll do and some fans will subconsciously want.

But I'm so far done with any idea of needing a Celtic minded person in these positions.

I just want a * sports person running us!
Not one of the board have a sporting background and thus not one of them was ever truly fit for their positions to run a football club.

I can accept a few won't ever have a sport background, but the bulk of the board and specially if we modernise to a better football department, should all come from at least a sporting background.

I am sure Tisdale can be blamed, but when i say he should get sacked i dont take that in to consideration. Im just basing that on his CV. He is not qualified, just like Nicholson. A Exeter manager should never, ever be in that position at a club like Celtic.

I can guarantee that Club Brugge's scout chief is a highly qualified man with lots of experience.

Every single "suit" that aint a complete expert in the area they work in should get sacked now.

Some people (not anyone here) talk about how impressive it is how Brugge, Ajax, Basel etc can find the players they find. Its because they have really good scouts. We have a bunch of lads and a chief scout that is a golf mate to DD

ACSOM mentioned this on today's lunchtime stream.

My quote wasn't far off regarding him having "communicate with the fans" on a sticky note highlighted above his desk.

    Staggering.
