I'd like to see us switch up the midfield and play Engels alongside him in the defensive position. I think it would help Calmac in the long run and also I think Engels is better suited to playing there. Not sure with our awful summer window that our standard 4-3-3 formation is the best option going forward.

 

Barnardo has more dig and better stamina for tracking back and can put a tackle in . I think barnardo is better suited for playing in Europe than calmac

Agreed. That or a modified version of it for a 4-2-3-1. Definitely have the quality in midfield to make it work.

 

I think he probably is, but he needs a lot more help. One thing’s for sure, if he wasn’t in the team we’d have nobody to fill his shoes, leadership-wise.
