Pretty sure their was an article while back saying the bank of New York and train were having a meeting with the board to discuss the budget that was gonna go out on players
Basically insinuating that the investors wanted to make sure their wasn’t a surplus spent

So in other words, the Board were maybe right in not shelling out upwards of £10M on another dud ?.

 

Only way I see forward is more investment in shares from fans and pass as proxy to Celtic trust also to find historical shares owners and family and get them to pass proxy on to Celtic trust because right now desmond as the majority shareholder has proxy of unclaimed which is taking his power to 50 per cent

He flopped at Sevilla too, and only had two competitive goals this season.

 

Tbh I've not seen too much of him so all I've got to go on was that game and the highlights videos. Just my feeling that he's maybe not what we needed. I think the way we play we need a guy that is gonna press and be a good link up player as well. To me he looks a bit one paced and alot of his highlight packages were tap in/ penalty box type finishes. We are barely creating these for our strikers. I think we need a guy thats a bit more dynamic. Doesn't mean he won't score goals at Ajax, they played us off the park 2nd half in pre season. Prob create alot more chances for him.

 

I'm so proud of our support. 10's of thousands if not 100's have come together to mobilise against the board to force change. The huns could never mobilise this kind of support. I hope they keep up the momentum.

 

In the minutes for the meeting it says summer spend was significantly higher …… that’s tell me tierney has been a financial blow out a luxury we could have done without

Do you deliberately talk pish?

 

We need a striker who can hold the ball and bring others into play. He is perfect. A Dembele type, which works perfectly under Rodgers. We will create plenty chances over the season. Just like we did last when we scored nearly 100 league goals.

 

Also the minutes tell me that * accountant lawell ain’t ever sanctioning any stadium infrastructure until materials inflation rate difference comes down to rates before pandemic

I agree on Dembele, was just saying that in another thread. I didn't get that vibe off him. Ach well, doesn't matter anyway, we'll never find out. Prob not the thread for it anyway.
