    * smashed my PB today, 7 over on a course that made me want to quit golf 2 years ago I shot 140 on it. First ever eagle on the 18th, 1 under on the back 9.

Celtic doing * all to make me happy but golf does the trick on days like today :36:

Just getting into it. Wish I'd taken it up sooner. Keep hitting my driver to the right and wanting to throw the club but I'm loving it :giggle1:

Played a captains charity day on Saturday. 30 points in the Stableford off the whites so no bad. 39 the winner.

Good day out and also won a 4 ball at Royal Musselburgh in the raffle. Will get that sorted soon.

I'm playing Royal muss tomorrow and then Baberton on Sunday. Getting a couple new course in before the weather turns!

Was outstanding my one of my top 5 so far, trump Aberdeen being No1, all the staff were so accommodating, guy asks my my name time ect, and there waiting is my name all made up on the bag tag guy takes my trolley round, everything waiting for me at the back brilliant, got a whiskey at the first tee too, the greens were so fast it took me 18 holes to get use to them I wouldn't say it's overly difficult but you can get into some real trouble, brilliant experience shame my golf wasn't as good definitely worth the money

Thanks mate. I think I'll get down next year.

Played today at Royal muss. Great course, don't think I'd pay the green fee normally though.

Shot 95, 8 of us did a ryder cup themed tournament was great craic. My driver is on fire the now. Noticed a big difference in my game back end of this season, down to 23 HC. 29 start of the summer.

Break 90 is the target for next year.

Exactly my experience at Dumbarnie last year also. We had a real mix of handicaps so we played off the yellows when I played it. Agree about it not being overly difficult, it is a course that gives you chances. I shot level round it with a bogey at the last.

Definitely worth it it's a great experience they give you that we bit extra and it goes long way,
I thought the same with RM enjoyed my rounds but not worthy of the price most hotel courses are like that, your doing well getting down keep it up

We played the blues with a mix of HC my HC was the same as my home course so didn't think I'd be that bad I hit 100 lol, the amount of 3 puts was killing me the greens were like glass and for some reason the hardest pin positions absolutely loved it tho, level par is good shooting few in our group we're only one or two over most were worse than me, going to see if I can get a good deal for another course before the end of the year normally get some decent deals at the shoulder playing an open tomorrow so nice we change

Played some great stuff for a couple of weeks there july-august. Now I'm back to reality struggling to score after getting my handicap slashed.

    It's a cruel mistress this game :52:
