    Think we'll have just enough..

But, it will be a slog and we're reliant on Rodgers to use all his skill.

It may also depend on how long the Huns persevere with Martin.. but regardless we have a good quality and leadership in, Schmeichel, KT, AJ, CCV, Scales and McGregor.. Nygren was captain of his old side too.. a lot of character will be needed.

Think they’ll persist with Martin all year. Judging by that thelwil interview I think their board know success isn’t realistic immediately so will trust him to turn it round. Which I think will be the death of them.

mourinhos free now…I think if he came in we’d lose the league.

but as is now I think once the transfer window calamity has settled we’ll be okay. Who knows, hopefully we see the next KT, Cal, Forrest etc. take a chance

    Yes, but depends on

    1. If Martin stays.

    2. If Hearts show a bit of consistency.

Think purely name alone he’d get a tune out of the wasters.

his last few moves have been to teams with huge egos. Turkey was a weird one for me. League is full of random names either at the beginning of their career. End of their career or over paid 2 season wonders

Yes, because we already have a lead that I think we'll maintain. We've already taken a point away from their shitpit and they have Martin in charge.

Grand old team to play for
A lot depends on how the new signings do. If some of them can show real quality and give the squad a lift, we'll be fine.

If they're a disappointment to the rest of the squad, I think we could end up with a real morale problem. With some players having wanted to move on, but not being allowed to, I'm a bit worried about the dressing room.

We really need to get through to the winter window without getting into trouble, then seriously tool up.

For me, not a chance. It obviously hinges on what the other side of the city do, but their squad for the first time in ages is clearly better than ours. But they have a * manager at the helm. If they're ballsy enough to sack him and get someone half decent in, we're finished. Come January I think we'll be well behind in the league and after the most disastrous transfer window I've ever seen from us I know for a fact we're incapable of rectifying this when the window re-opens. Realistically, we need a huge, huge investment in the team in January and need big signings just about everywhere on the pitch. But we've shown time and time again we're incapable. I think this time it will actually bite us on the *.

Anyone who's confident we'll win the league will be in for a reality check shortly when we start throwing away points domestically.

Amidst all our own problems, I do think people miss that the huns are almost as big a mess as us.

No doubt their board have backed them this summer, but I honestly think Martin is as bad a manager as Beale, and he could end up worse.

Players clearly don't like him either, he's isolated Raskin, had a clear spat with Igamane before he left and seems to continually play guys like Aarons and Rothwell, who are both really poor. Despite their signings they still only have one fit LB and both their RB'S are *.

At the same time, the huns wont sack him so early on given how much they've backed him, and whilst we are a mess, I think we will have that general consistency over them in the league.

Outside the huns, Hearts won't have the consistency to match us over a season.

Not so sure now. We are a baw hair away from a disaster if we get injuries to key players. We also have a style of football which other teams now know how to play against and we haven't been firing on all cylinders since the Bayern game. Also, other teams have strengthened their teams while we have weakened ours so I'd say about 50/50

Domestically although being a bit light up front we still have the best players and Rodgers doesn't lose many domestic games. If the 3 forwards we signed settle in we'll be ok. If the huns continue with Martin they're going to have a few hard slogs especially in away games. Hearts will drop points throughout the season

I think we'll do it but it'll be a tense and joyless affair. Wouldn't surprise me if we don't get either of the cups this year.

We have the players to do it but we’ve made it far more difficult than it needed to be and we’ve probably set ourselves back a few years this summer.

The manager also needs to show some tactical flexibility until he has the players he needs for his preferred formation to work. It doesn’t right now.

As it stands. Unless there is an immediate intervention.
    Not confident at all.

My reasons are well documented on here. No need to go into them again

    Yeah comfortably.

Despite the absolute * show we've seen over the last few months, losing the league hasn't even entered my head bcoz we are still far too strong for the rest.

My main sare that we * the champions league, made a * of the transfer window, Europa is gonna be a missed opportunity, and I widely anticipate the football is gonna be eye bleedingly bad but no chance are we losing the league

You're in for a massive wake up call. That team we have now isn't the same as the team from last year. We look like the only team in the top 6 that has regressed. We'll be dropping points on a regular basis with that squad.
