loan signings dont make sense unless your very short in an area or you have a buy clause in the deal

 

Tbf I think in this scenario his loan signing makes perfect sense.

really highly rated youngster to push our 4 centre half’s. Murray is benefitting evidently. Scales and CCV are creating a good partnership and trusty has done well when swapping with scales.

having a risk free no fee centre half there just in case anything happens to them makes complete sense.

much rather that than a £3.5 mil signing in nawrocki or lagerbielke who make as many appearances as it seems JSP will

Nawrocki and lagerbielke spending 2 year out the team is ridiculously bad management for a spl side so yeah this is a bit better l doubt he'll be here long

 

I’d assume it was actually forward planning by the club bringing nawrocki and lagerbielke in….to allow CCV to leave soonish and also trusty seems to have been allowed to leave (with JSP as his replacement).

the common denominator here though is Rodgers doesn’t like the signings

 

If he’s being a *, not playing a B game to get fit to be in the first team thinking he’s above needing to then he can wallow away miserable himself.

Clear the loan contract doesn’t include him needing to play, he needs to earn it, and that might be exactly what Man City are trying to find out about him by him being here, without guarantees except the ones he proves himself.

Clear the talent is rated. That’s nowhere near enough, and Rodgers standards might be highish with that stuff. Pep’s are near inhumane.

 

Hope he does. It'll either mean he didn't refuse to play for the B team, or he did but has now recanted.
