Brendan Rodgers Discussion Thread

It's the worst state we've been in since the last time Rodgers was here. This summer had almost been a carbon copy of summer 2018 even down to signing a unfit, over the hill free agent at the end of the window in desperation.

 

Does not matter who's the manager, we still need change at the top

But. There is no doubt that Rodgers has been a bigger part of the problem this season than i think most believe. He won't be here next season anyway, so for me it comes down to how motivation he is.

If he's going to prove a point the whole season we will crash and burn. Then he needs gone now because we cant let him do that.

Place needs cleared top to bottom. From That useless * Desmond to Lawwell to the manager to quite a few players.

 

That's not a PR move. That's a blatant and snidey back stabbing ploy to brief against Rodgers. So it's clear now. There is a faction within the club who want him gone and they've been absolutely snidey and snake like in they way they're doing it.

After the summer that's been endured, the opinion letter from the fans. Someone one or more, have thought, let's leak a story to the absolute scum that is the Sun.

Another show of contempt to the fans as well. They are utterly convinced their way from 2000 is the way and everyone else is wrong.

They won't fix this or even entertain the letter. Briefing against Rosgers after everything. Vermin *.

 

Why would he go against Desmonds man. Why would he go after his boss like that and what the * is that * absent arrogant Pat Mustard * wannabe not stick up for his manager.

It doesn't make sense. Club is riddled wi poisonous, parasitic vermin.

We need to get over this whole Scott Brown thing. He's a bawhair away from being sacked as Ayr utd manager.

Our last appointment was Brendan Rodgers, the Lawwells wanted Maresca, before that obviously was Ange but only after we chased Howe all summer.

We've made one lazy appointment in the last 10 years in Lennon, which was a * disaster and led to supporters throwing metal sharks at any * they could get near.

It's not happening so people need to stop with the constant scare mongering.

There's a change Brown mite end up back here as an assistant or 1st team coach after he gets sacked at Ayr and realises he needs to maybe take a step back to progress his managerial career

 

Pretty sure there are some who never wanted him back and have done as much as they could to sabotage him at every turn.

As iv said previously, allowing Desmond to overrule those in charge of running the club on a daily basis, and essentially those that will actually work with the manager is * ridiculous. Particularly as the auld * only has a minority share holding. It's time the * learned his place.

 

What do we think the reaction to that article will be?

 

And there's the problem in a nutshell.. Desmond thinks he owns this club and only now and then sticks his big tash in its business. Its ridiculous

 

If i was Rodgers i know what mine would be.. Adiós.

 

Everyday day this board sinks to a new low, whether Rodger’s goes now or at the end of the season the optics of this situation is so bad it’s going to be difficult to get a quality manager into replace him unless we get lucky again like with ange.

 

Whoever came up with this idea must have presumed it would get some fans, at least, back on side, which only goes to show how out of touch, arrogant and incompetent they are. This only makes things worse not better, something anyone with even a hint of foresight or sense should have realised. The first step to solving any problem is to admit you have a problem and know what it is yet the tone of that article suggests they think they are in the right and always have been. This tragic little attempt to deflect blame has only gone to show that things are even worse than we feared at the top of Celtic FC.

 

How do we know its not the daily hun at the full wind up? They try * every single year to try upset us in order for the huns to have more of a chance.

 

Shaun Maloney is his replacement, in my view.
If, as we all suspect, Rodgers is Desmond’s man then why the * does he not empty that boardroom and make a statement of intent!!! We are such a mess, I struggle to comprehend how we could go from the Bayern game, looking like we had increased the amount of money on individual transfers to signing a guy for 250k from Japan and the club appearing to be self imploding!!!!

Is that our communication from them then a hit piece in the * sun. Get them to * self serving egotistical *

 

Always felt to me that Rodgers was who Desmond wanted, whereas the rest of the board would prefer someone else.

Not saying he isnt part of the problem, but if Desmond had balls, he'd back Rodgers instead of the rest of the board
