I've been out of the loop with this type of news.

Has he seriously been left out?

If that's the case and Rodgers is going to * about like this he should just go. Being a petulant man child is not something that is compatible with being manager of Celtic.

If Shin starts scoring domestically this will end up looking even worse.

He probably won't get a chance, maybe 10 mins at the end of a game where we've taken the foot off the gas.

And therefore Rodgers won't play him.if he isn't forced to. We've seen that before with him. He cannot accept when he was wrong. The same will happen to Inamura. He won't get a chance because he could proof Rodgers wrong if he performance better than Saracchi.

Why did he start him v Livi and bring him off the bench at Ibrox if he holds such an agenda?

Why did Inamura start v Livi if Rodgers cannot accept he was wrong?

If a players takes his chance under Rodgers, he will get more. He has proven that time and time again at Celtic. Scales and Christie are two prime examples of players Rodgers didn't initially rate but got their chance and took it and became regulars and key players under him.

Yamada and Inamura will get chances, if they take them they will have a future here.

I'm sick of this ridiculous narrative that our manager is deliberately out to spike the careers of players due to a petty dispute with the board. If the players show themselves to be good enough they will play, especially in a time like now where we look bereft of quality.

Hope you’re right mate but I don’t hold any faith that they’ll get their fair chance.

idah should have been nowhere near Almaty after a good showing against livi for both Kenny and yamada. If you play players on form and also players that looked good/deserved more game time based on performances he’d have played either of those.

Inamura I get couldn’t play Almaty and there’s no way Rodgers would play him against rangers. I hope we see more of him, and would love to be proven wrong. But seems Rodgers has made his mind up on Inamura regardless of how well he plays each game

He’s had his moments. Well, a moment, and in a similar situation and it’s starkly different - Shved

He didn’t allow a chance, bombed him out, barely trained with the first team. Played him one time I think, he scored a good goal. And when he left, went to Shakhtar played us… he was a good player. But that was never ever going to be a thing. From Rodgers first interview on it.

He’s been fairer treatment of Shin and Inamura. He’s clearly unsure of them, and not as willing to nurse them through into settling here. They’re not setting a fire under him, more just ok, and he’s not interested in that.

But it is quite weird as well, Shin seemed to have moved above Kenny in the pecking order with how he has been used. And been left out of European squad, Kenny getting the nod. Why’d Shin move ahead of him, played instead of him, turned to him in more than one big game. To then have a complete 180

That’s what’s confusing, last three league games he’s had 25 minutes, 58 minutes and 24 minutes.

Last one being at Ibrox us chasing a win. First 25 an edgy game chasing a win against the team that beat us in the Cup Final.

Got put on chasing the CL in at Parkhead for 13 mins, and he got 27 minutes in the league cup.

Kenny has had 93 mins all in. He was also on the bench for all but one game where Shin replaced him, when Shin was chose before him. Kenny has 1 goal in that time, and I quite like him. But Shin’s clearly been ahead in the pecking order.

It’s not like the Inamura situation.

It might be a huff, now the window is shut driving the point home BR just waiting for his contact to end. But while he does make points with his squad and how he uses them sometimes, he’s not one to go that far. It’s * odd.

If he kicks on, he might have made a problem for himself. If he wasn’t prepared to play him, he would have done that already.

    I agree wholeheartedly with this.

I like Rodgers and feel he’s been shafted, however he has history with this kind of thing. Nawrocki was a player and he shunned him and binned him as an example. To leave out Shin is an act of bitter revenge in my opinion. We are short of strikers and he plays him at Ibrox as sub, but leaves him out Europa squad.

He helped destroy Mikey by playing him up front on his own at Ibrox in another one of his * you moments to the board. Nobody in their right mind would have done that, but he did.

He has wee man syndrome and he really should chuck it, say his piece in public if his pay off doesn’t include an NDA, and go away.

Yes he has been dealt another * reeming by the board, but he’s manager representing the fans and he should, at all times, get his best team on the pitch. I genuinely believe, on occasion, he doesn’t do that.

Rocki isn’t fit for Hannover yet and BR eluded the same for us. Also the signing that summer he made sure to claim as his own. Having played against Leicester and he’d followed him since. Which is probably BR * but he’d give every chance he could having done so.

Mikey one you’re right. Sure he said Eddy only had 60 nins in him. Got a half hour.

If it was MJ coming on and Eddy playing 60 It’d have been sound

He tried him there previous week against Motherwell and he scored 2 up front. But he did use that as a point.

The one for me was first season back Bernabei for Palma vs Hearts. I was seething with that.

He does do that kinda *, but this with Shin doesn’t strike me as it. Beyond everything, Rodgers in his last year and knowing he’ll go, wouldn’t do it if Shin was someone he thought could make a difference in Europe especially because if Rodgers doesn’t do well in Europe knowing in the summer he’ll be tarting himself for a good job down south or maybe even the continent now. He knows that he won’t be judged on Celtic vs Falkirk. It’ll be Roma.

And he’s too self serving to * himself over, to snub the board. When he left first time, he done everything to make sure he was fine * anyone else. Rogic and Tierney got injections to play, Tierney asked to ruin his body, Rogic was out until Ange because of it, and he always managed Rogics fitness superbly. If he believed Shin could help, then it’d help him.

Not too sure of the timing. But could it have been to force through/convince Kenny signing the contract? Or was all this after he’d already signed?

So Brodge got him in, give him minutes. Sweet talking Kenny telling him he’s the man for him. Don’t go to Bolton cos we need you here, you’re the man.

Kenny signs and goes down the pecking order :BR1:

all jokes aside they’d both be vying for top spot for me based on merit and looking to have some potential. We all know that won’t happen now. Based on absolutely nothing at all Iheanacho will play

Feel for him, evident now that the club signed him and not Rodgers. But it's not his fault. Needs a good run in the team to see what he's capable of.

The guy has unbelievable speed. Could he be used on the wing??

That's what im saying, it's not the players fault and we need to see what he can do. I don't understand why he's been left out the Europa League squad. We've only picked 2 strikers
