Was he not near enough definitely heading to Birmingham before Nicholson switched his phone off during the Yang deal?

How rhe * can Rodgers say he’s going on loan before he’s kicked a ball for us and 2 months later we still haven’t managed it.

6 months of his career wasted playing B team games learning nothing much.

 

Must be watching a different player then as he’s far from “hopeless”

 

He’s a decent passer, yet to see any other attributes that deem him good enough for the first team.

 

I saw him defending a bit in pre season, didn't sell anything short. Hard to judge anything other than his attacking credentials against that livi side where he was excellent

 

You’re right it is difficult for us to fully judge him, but Rodgers clearly doesn’t rate him yet. He’ll have the earn his spot like everyone else.

You're right we don't know if he's good enough defensively but he wouldn't need to be in the majority of our games. His attributes will likely be more beneficial for us as a team going forward..

 

Although some in here think he is a good player, you can be sure when the first game he plays and gets outmuscled would be the end of him on TC and probably the wider fan base, he doesn't seem physical enough yet but that can be corrected

 

Sounds like he's not going to get a chance to at all though.

Don't get me wrong, I thought his looks like a terrible signing based on cheap and from a relegated team in Japan. But from pre season and the game against livi and Rodgers initial comments about how much he impressed in pre season he should get more of a chance.

Bizarre take.

 

Probably difficult to sell clubs on a loan for a defender when his own manager is continually saying he can't defend

 

No clubs being interested in loaning him and thinking he might not be up to much, isn’t bizarre.

 

It is bizarre. If a Livi or Falkirk, or off the top of my head say Sheffield Wednesday wouldn’t and it’d be worth it for us to soak up majority of costs, if that’s not possible then I’d say we’re full of * with that.

Better on loan him playing and us paying, than us just paying and him just around

 

There’s nothing bizarre about wondering how good a player actually is, if there aren’t any clubs interested in taking him on loan.
