Pathetic that he's not in the Europa Squad. Utterly shambolic. Yet that piece of * Inheanacho walks straight in. We're going to get passed around the Europa League like a scud book on a building site anyway but to leave him put is genuinely baffling.

 

I won't even be watching the EL games, they're usually always a * spectacle anyway but not being in the CL cause Kairat Almaty destroyed the whole season, now we're cutting about playing all this pish on a Thursday and * many of our home League games to a Sunday as well cause of it.

Starting to wonder how involved Brendan is in transfers.
Shin was never a signing Rodgers wanted just like Inamura and probably JSP, Kwon and Yang too. These guys were signed by Lawwell and Nicholson through the Ange/Man City contacts and dumped on Brendan.
Very weird that we sign a striker for £1.5million (our most expensive striker at the momemt) who was playing regular last season in Japan and is the only striker that has looked okay this season and he gets left out for a unproven striker that has been crap in the many opportunities hes had and a striker who has hardly played in almost 2 years.

Iheanacho only has 1 goal in his last 35 League games and is probably nowhere near fit.

At least Yamada has the legs to get about the park and has showed up not bad in games though.

We'll watch this pensioner * Iheanacho slugging about the park for about 3 games and want him chased.

I'll believe in Santa before this guy being 28 considering hes been declining physically for 5 year by now. I used to like him but he's not had any legs for years at this point.

People are calling him fat but he's just old, built like Scott Brown when he was 34/35.

In his 1st spell fans were wanting Gamboa to get more game time as we wanted an attacking RB. He didn't get a sniff for months then Rodgers played him away to Psg and Bayern so he could point and say see he's not up to it as he was getting roasted by Neymar and Coman.

 

And that's why he won't. Can't have some player from the J league showing up the "elite level" manager.

He'd rather play Iheanacho and Saracchi, 2 guys that have been pish for years and struggled for game time ahead of 2 young guys from Japan who have impressed in every appearance they've made so far all bcoz hes got his crusty petty lip out.

 

He also had an 18 year old Ralston playing against Neymar and co. It was because our starting RB Lustig was injured.

And maybe Rodgers was prove 100% right on Gamboa?

We have a problem if the board are forcing players on the manager that he doesn't want and its his job to pick the team. Every manager has their blind spots.

To say Rodgers is deliberately going out there to sabotage a career in a fight with the board is conspiracy level stuff, he likely just doesn't rate them or doesn't think their style of play is what he's after. Yamada has had chances, if he takes them he'll get more.
