Brendan Rodgers knows him very well & may be the man to get best out of him. He was very highly rated as a young man at Man C but has never lived up to his potential.

There's an ironic symetery between Iheanacho and Dolberg - in 2022 Dolberg was at Seville, flopped even worse than Iheanacho and then was loaned out (to Hoffenheim) only managing to score 1 league goal while on loan.

Haha I'm behaving just fine. I think you're under-playing it if you think this is just us missing a striker.

In my reply to the guy who asked if I was living under a rock, I was giving the board their due with how they conducted things under Ange.

The difference with the huns now is they actually have * with half a brain who are running their club. They've made a * of it with Martin but I dont think they'll hire a bigger fud than him.

They are also chucking money about with 8 million quid signings. If you don't think our board have opened the door to give those * a chance at this league title then that's mental.

Our board usually need some sort of disaster on the pitch to happen before they get their finger out their *. The 2-2 cup semi final and then the covid season.

25 minutes a month ago and on the bench for their last on the 10th of last month's so must be quite fit as hes done a full pre season with them..

We really need him to come in and do a job for us. We need more than just him from the free market as well as we're still too light..

As for spending £8m on a player.. is that like they sold lammers etc for 6m but turned out 800k for all 4 players? I'd be * off if we spent £8m on a striker that's scored 1 less goal than our new fat freebee that scored 1 goal

 

What I recall in his 'prime' He was a false 9 who was good technically, can hold up play well. Don't think he's ever been a prolific goalscorer. He's certainly not a striker who will press & run all day either. If he's unfit then he will be a wasted jersey. If he gets himself in good condition & wants to play then he could be good. Just don't see him getting 20+ goals though I hope I'm wrong.

 

Iheanacho when he was at city was quite a similar player to moussa when we had him , was a big guy but his link up play was very good and quite athletic and was a decent finisher. The trouble is I don’t think he’s the same player anymore,

could be maybe the wrong clubs he’s went to and it’s not worked out for him , maybe with an attacking club with attacking wingers it might bring him on a bit ,

not sure if sevilla still use the data analysts for transfers like they did when monchi was there but if they do then he must have ticked a few boxes for them.

for me he is not any worse than Adam idah who’s first touch was shocking

 

It's that clip doing the rounds of him stumbling forward in an awkward dribble, completely unchallenged yet also looking like he's about to lose the ball, then skies it.

He looks(few years back I guess now) absolutely unfit and out of shape and as of he won a charity event to take part in a charity game.

I sincerely hope he's in better shape now and the international break we get him and everyone else mentally and physically in to line, because it is what it is now and we need to kick on as a squad.
