I agree Tisdale has to go, but I'm not sure you can call this his strategy. It looks more to me like it was a power struggle between the manager and the board. They weren't buying the players he wanted and he wasn't signing off on players that weren't his first choice. He could have been recommending really good options that were within our means but being blocked by either side.

If I were him I'd be resigning for his own good as it would appear he has no sway at the club at all.

Paul Tisdale will be the sacrificial lamb and will join Congerton and Lawwell Jr on the scrapheap our problems are bigger than a head of recruitment who similar to the manager are merely shields for the board

Balikwisha and Tounekti will be unavailable for a month due to the African cup of nations which starts on Dec 21st so both will miss the game against the Huns on 3rd January.

    We are such a mess.

    We are ok at GK.

We lost our best RB by far to injury.

We are ok at CB. With Murray improving and depending on JSP, we might have the most depth there in a while.

We seem ok at LB. Need Tierney back to his best, Sarrachi looked ok, Inamura could contribute.

This is where it gets messy.

We have 6 CM’s and no real balance at all across all 6 of them. They are all good players in their own right but they aren’t working together. We need to find the right combination. I don’t care if it’s Bernardo, McCowan and Engels.

    Right wing. Forrest and Yang?

Left wing. Maeda, Balikwisha, Tounekti and Jota?

    Striker. Yamada, Kenny and Osmand?

I think we will see the wingers being more fluid. Maeda will probably play striker and the 5 wingers will likely all play both sides. Swapping during games etc. At least I hope they do and I think they are all capable to an extent.

I don’t want to talk about strikers after letting Dolberg slip through our fingers. I’d love to just throw Osmand in and let him play.

    Only if they qualify.

Both their last game is on the 30th. So if they are out, they will be back and available. Two 3rd place teams qualify I think, so they probably both will.

Come on you Bhoys in Green
We are just a shambles of a club right now I'm sorry to say. We are so so far away from teams supposedly on our level like Brugge, Ajax, Copenhagen etc... in terms of modernization in the market we should be operating in. All these teams have completely blown us away in terms of transfers & dare I say it the Huns even though some of their signings are a little * (at least they get players in quickly). Our problems lie internally & until we somehow root them out we will continue to go backwards & watch clubs we should be competing with become out of our reach in every aspect.

The winger Aberdeen signed on loan last night looks like he’d walk into our team.

Did Osmand go out on loan or is he still about?

So would Kevin Nisbet. You could state a credible case that the team bottom of the league has a better forward line than we do. Hearts and Hibs do as well

Gotta hope he has something about him and can make an impact if needed, or at least push Kenny and Shin to perform.

What a state of affairs man :giggle1:

Balikwisha for example wouldn't get a game over any of them for me. Don't know any of the diets players..

He was called up in June. Played against Morocco.

You’d imagine after a fairly high profile move, he will be in the next squad.

The domino effect on missing out on our top targets

    Bolton wanted Kenny

And I think Osmand was looking likely to go on loan

Then obviously Idah went and we were left running about for a replacement
