This is what happens when you fail repeatedly in consecutive windows..

We left loads to do and failed spectacularly to sort any of it..

We've needed a main striker for a couple of windows now and got none
We needed a right winger all window and got none
We needed quality options in reserve out wide and have had to halt Tilio then bring back Yang

I don't think any of us really thought we were gonna get everything needed
2 strikers of quality
3 wingers for both sides
Another 8
A succession 6 for McGregor

But * me did I ever think it would turn out like this..

It will take many windows to rectify. Every season we have to bring in a whole raft of signings which should never be the case..

We needed additions and have ended the window much weaker. Disgraceful..

 

Don’t think this was ever about us. * just wants to get his overpaid wage at Chelsea without ever having to actually play. No doubt got about 10 years of it left too with the contracts they give out

 

Add into that….next January or summer window. Maeda 100% gone. Hatate 100% gone. CCV 100% gone. Engels and trusty likely to go. Saracchi gone. Johnston likely to get his big move.

We should play the B team in the europa league, we simply don't have the depth to take it seriously.

Let the board take their medicine. Signing Fofana was a band aid on a shotgun wound anyway. Signing him now would he utterly embarrassing from us.

 

I actually HATE this club club!!!

 

Clearly clubs will now want to avoid us like the plague regarding how we handle business as it’s being put out there how difficult we are when trying to sign players.

it seems we are not capable of doing multiple deals at once.

We are not moving with the times and think it’s acceptable to offer buttons for the players we want in while demanding sky high fees for our own.

Is this the final window that breaks the cycle? Not a chance, we still have the same people running the club and that’s the only time it will change.

I don’t like comparing us to them, but they have smelt blood in the water and gone all out to back their manager, I don’t care he’s got off to a rocky start, Ange did, Wim Jansen, Neil Lennon did…

They have brought in players and managed to get multiple deals done all it takes it for them to gel and they go on a run while we continue to struggle to score goals and drop points due to our small squad and pick up any injuries and we are *.

Not to mention the two wingers we have just signed will be going away in December for the Africa Cup Of Nations.

The level of incompetence has been surpassed with this window.

Something has to change, it needs to change cause the damage has been done this summer and they will come back and win the league.

 

How can it not? We still have the best defence in the league by far, so I doubt we'll lose many games; but when you struggle to create goals, you're going to drop points.

I guess it all depends whether the Huns' window is as good as the money they've spent. If it is, we're in trouble.
