Sure he's played left wing pretty much all the time yet we mention he can play either side. So he's the right winger and setting the poor * up to fail by immediately putting him out of position

Hope he does well but we are a * show

    It’s a panic buy.

His agent will have put this whole deal together at the last minute and offered it to Nicholson.

Nicholson’s had to take it because he’s * up every single thing in this window.

If this works out, then it will be pure luck.

Hope this lad is good and wish him nothing but the best but this again feels like a great example of being fleeced for a player that could have been signed earlier this summer for less.

Even looking just at that league we got him from there in his position there is at least 2 or 3 others I would have went for.

Play him on the left. I really, really like what I see but he's complete unknown and he should be hungry coming here, this is a big move for him and he should be motivated and these are the kind of signings I want us to make, we just haven't made anywhere near enough of them, we usually go running when the clubs quotes us a price we can well afford but don't like. Play him on the left and hope that he can carry us through until January and Jota returns to ease the burden.

Tunisian winger Sebastian Tounekti put pen to paper on a five-year deal with Celtic last night, with the 23-year old making the move from Swedish side Hammarby IF to Paradise.

Speaking to Celtic TV after committing his future to the Scottish champions, Tounekti touched on his delight at becoming a Celtic player.

“It’s an amazing feeling,” he said. “It’s been a crazy day but I’m really happy to be here and to be a Celtic player.

“My plan is to get to know the team and to get to know everyone in the club.

‘Of course, I am here to help the team. I am here to win games.’

“For me, I want to develop and being at Celtic is the best place.

“I think I can develop here and to be in a club that wins games and titles is the best thing for a player at my age."

Tunisia internationalist, who will wear the No. 23 jersey for Celtic, spent much of the early part of his playing career in Norway, during which time he picked up two league titles with Bodø/Glimt.

And speaking to Celtic TV, the winger shed light on what the Celtic fans can expect to see from him during his time in Glasgow’s East End as he sets his sights on success in the Hoops.

Tounekti added: “I like to take on players and try to make something happen and try to produce goals and assists because, at the end of the day, it’s about winning games.

“I know this is a massive club. When you speak about Celtic, you know it’s a historic club.

“They win titles almost every year and it’s such a big club so it’s a big honour to be a part of this great club."

The same thought went through my mind see if we had offered about £4.5m for Breum he probably would have been here a month ago if not longer. He’s younger than this guy and done more in a better league.

Not writing the boy off as I said all along when Kuhn was sold I don’t know how we couldn’t have brought in 2 or 3 attackers then with that money.

Even guys down on their form that would have done a job for us have moved on loan or for buttons.

I genuinely would have preferred Aberdeens deadline day of Karlsson and Nisbet to ours. Not saying that’s the level to aim for but they two are better than buying one winger.

I would have taken a punt on Ola Solbakken when we were crying out for a right winger for the CL playoff. Someone that has flopped in Italy but had obvious quality when he destroyed us. Also has plenty of pace and a lefty that plays on their right. He went for about £1m to Nordsjaelland. Wage at Roma was £13k he will have taken a hair cut on that to move to Denmark.

We definitely could've got better in..

I still maintain Orjasaeter looked a far better player as well and a couple year younger but there was loads others and likely very many in his domestic league as you say that were probably better..

Karlsson is undeniably a better player and shows just how sleepy at the wheel we've been..

I'm no even saying this guys * or that, he looks decent enough....but we needed better than decent, we needed a real game changing winger in..

Almost as if he's watched our recent games... or been told what the fans want to hear.

Either way, really hope he's right and brings that much needed aspect to our attack.

Both him and MAB will be given the instructions to attack and be brave on the ball, hoping for good things from both.
