Im still happy we kept him this summer, but i think its best for both us and him that this is his last with us.

    Far, far too inconsistent.

He’s a really annoying player, when he tries too hard that’s when he’s pish where as if he just plays naturally that’s when he’s at his best.

Get McCowan starting next few games.

His game is played at a walking pace.

This is fine when he’s on his game because you always feel his vision is that good that he’s looking for the next level pass to play.

But these days he’s just wandering about on it and getting dispossessed because he either isn’t releasing the ball quickly enough or the movement from his teammates isn’t up to par.

Yep. Always had a sort of graceful look to him on the ball but although he did turn well a few times today, you're right.....it's all so much slower from him on and off the ball..

Set the tone early on with his attempt at a challenge he sort of backed out of..

One of the players who looked absolutely knackered today. Surprised McCowan didn't get more time.

He really was poor. He needs to inject some urgency into his game again.

One of the most infuriating players I have seen. Given on his day, he is another level.

I’ve always been against the majority on Hatate. I’ve never thought he contributes enough from game to game. He maybe has 1 good game but very very rarely bosses a number of games. We have missed the boat on maximising any profit on him, incidentally the same goes for Maeda, so he’ll be here turning in performances like every game this season, waiting for 1 good pass. Yes I’ve been slaughtered on here for my opinion, and I’ll put it out there again, he’s not that good.

His entire contribution this season has been 1 worldy strike. He’s done nothing but float about and try to look flashy in between.

Whilst spot on that, I’m not frustrated with him at all, frustrated for him more than anything. * point in having a player with what he can do if we’re not working the ball to him in any * places to do it.

Could count on one hand the amount of times we’ve played a pass to him without him facing towards our goal. Kairat game away was killing my soul with how we were feeding the ball to him, usually with three * around him, frantic and misplaced, him desperately stretching to get a touch to knock it vaguely towards a teammate.

He frustrated the * off me at points last season, so I know it’s not just me refusing to acknowledge it. He’s playing *. And I would be astonished if he wasn’t with what we’re doing anyway.

    He’s absolutely * *.

We are the best football team he’ll ever play for, and we are garbage.

The basics, like his weight of pass over 10 yards is atrocious.

No idea how he gets away with it. Proper shitebag as well.

I think he's become a luxury we can no longer afford, it's not enough anymore to say aye but he's capable of that bit of magic, he just dosen't do enough over the 90 mins to justify his place.

Much like Maeda for me he has been here too long. It is yet another example of a failing recruitment system. This summer was the time for a bit of a rebuild but we have spent the summer infighting and done nothing about the glaring issues in our squad.

I think it is interesting some of the talk that has come out over the last week, particularly from Rodgers which to me points at the problem really being getting the deal done and in all the chat of people Rodgers has said are supportive I have not heard CEO or club management mentioned. Desmond has been mentioned, even the Board but to me he is pointing the finger squarely at the Nicholson and McKay duo and their inability to get deals done.

It doesn’t absolve the manager or team of blame they basically look like they have both checked out. The passive negative football to me comes across as a lazy option where no one wants to take any responsibility on the pitch to make something happen.

Yeah he is a * footballer. Not having a dig at anyone because maybe its me but i just can't for my life understand what he is supposed to be good at? What people see in him.

    Awful attitude
    Extremely overrated
    Extremely lazy and inconsistan

I would honestly have him as far back in the pecking order as possible. Even play McArdle before Hatate.

Until the midfield set up is overhauled Im reluctant to put the blame squarely on the players. Could pick any of our midfielders and say they are * and cant do the basics right now.

Hatate never struck me as a player that instinctively wants to pass backwards or sideways. I think he prefers to go forward and look for higher percentage passes. That seems to have been drilled out of him now as Rodgers preference is to retain possession over higher risk passing.

Be lucky to get 5m for him just now, back to being utter *, 1 good game in every 5 or 6 isn't good enough. Hope he leaves today
