Agreed, we need Hearts to get very competitive and start doing something in Europe, if we are going to improve our co efficient and get the league automatic position back eventually

I think they can do more than just be ok in Europe the 3rd team in Scotland. USG were further away from Anderlecht and Brugge than Hearts to especially the Huns and then us.

If they don’t at least sign a striker that on paper looks good they can stick their Europa tickets, League Cup and Scottish Cup tickets up their *. Will be coming off the HCTS. Love Celtic but pay more every season and the board give less and less back.

Celtic will kick off their UEFA Europa League campaign with a trip to Belgrade to take on Crvena Zvezda on Wednesday, September 24. The only other competitive meeting between the sides was back in the 1968/69 season.

The first home game for the Hoops will be on October 2 when they play host to Braga followed by another home game later that month against Sturm Graz (October 23)

Celtic have two away games in November – against FC Midtylland in Denmark (November 6) and Feyenoord in the De Kuip stadium on November 27.

Brendan Rodgers’ side will play host to Serie A side, Roma on December 11, while the Hoops will head to Italy on January 22, 2026 to play Bologna, before completing their league phase campaign with a home match against Utrecht on January 29.

A home game at 1745 is *, can’t stand the home games that early. Glad Bologna is in the new year hopefully get over there for that.

We will either be qualified before we play Roma, or going to Utrecht for a must win.

Thats a rotten kick off time for our first home game.

I think we will be fine for a playoff spot. Id be surprised if we couldnt manage that but also surprised if we made the top 8.
