There’s a certain someone trying to downplay the Dolberg signing.

Absolute insanity to even try and suggest this isn’t a massive upgrade on Idah.

We are talking about someone who emerged young at Ajax as a wonderkid. He was a sensational young talent and as so often happens things stalled. He did ok at Nice but it’s clear he’s struggled to find a home. The talent has never been a question. If he kicked on an Nice, he’d be at an elite club by now and we wouldn’t have this thread open.

He’s really found it at Anderlecht. We aren’t talking about a 32 year old. He’s got his best years ahead of him. Technically, I honestly don’t see any part of his game that Idah excels in. He’d be an incredible signing.

 

Without a doubt from what I have seen of him over the past 2 seasons at Anderlecht Dolberg would be a very good signing. I also felt watching him that he was a player that was getting better and improving over the course of his time at Anderlecht.
