    Depends where he plays Maeda I think. If he plays on the left and it's then a choice between Kenny, the traffic cone and Shin then I reckon he'll go with Kenny

    Bolton Wanderers are refusing to give up on top transfer target Johnny Kenny, and are planning one final swoop to try and get a deal over the line for the Celtic striker this summer.



    Steven Schumacher's pursuit of the Celtic forward has been well documented this summer, with Wanderers facing multiple setbacks which have squashed their hopes of signing him.

    The 22-year-old recently agreed a new deal at Celtic Park, and scored his first goal of the season for the club on Saturday as the Bhoys cruised to a 3-0 victory over Livingston.

    However, according to a fresh update from journalist Alan Nixon via his Patreon page on Sunday morning, Bolton are not ready to give up on their pursuit of Kenny, and are readying another approach.

    The Trotters are reportedly preparing to make one final swoop before the window slams shut on 1 September, despite the Irishman penning a new long-term deal just weeks ago

    If they want him they can * off with £1mil bids. Regardless if he ends up being 4th choice for us he's still easily worth £3/4 mill in today's market.

    If we get Vardy he may get loaned out, actually think he could do a good job on the wing. Has the work rate and pace, plus good movement in the box like Nygren yesterday coming inside.

    Heard Robinson yesterday after the game saying they were still in the market for a striker. Kenny would be ideal for him there on loan. Actual competition so he still has to fight for his place with Mandron and Ayunga. But he’s better than them also so should play loads of games too.

    doubt he’ll go on loan now but would be the best thing for him

    The lad needs game time and unless we punt Idah it will be Kenny that goes on loan, he has a lot about him but 3rd choice is his level for us just now.

    Thought that 17 year old lad did Ok for them when he came on. Might want to let him develop as opposed to have a loan.
