    Aye he would. Not for that fee we paid, but £5m/£6m would be no bother if we wanted to this window.

    He’s fresh off a season he had 3 CL goals. And down in England at least, what do you think will be paid more attention to, every other game or Villa?

    I think homesickness has a big part to play in his struggles

    It would explain why the ball ends up halfway to Cork every time he comes into contact with it

    The Parkhead boss also revealed that Adam Idah is winning his fitness battle to face Kairat Almaty.



    Irish striker Idah, 24, missed the weekend's 3-0 win over Livingston after picking up a knee knock in training.

    But the £9m forward - who has yet to get off the mark this season - travelled with the squad to Kazakhstan.

    And Rodgers hinted Idah could be involved either from the start or from the bench in Tuesday's must-win showdown.


    He said: "We're pretty much the same as the weekend. Adam has travelled, he wasn't available at the weekend.

    Hopefully he’s fit enough for the bench to come on when Maeda and Nygren have put us 4 up. Just don’t see how he would remotely deserve to start

    For his own good I think he needs to get a move somewhere else and start afresh, either loan or permanent. In his current state he is pretty much useless to Celtic. Small chace he could benefit from a loan and he can come back feeling more positive, but feels like he is done at Celtic and every month he sticks around he is worth less.
