I think he will be good, from his stats he's a really good defensive player. Then I watched clips of him the other day and he looked a nice footballer, clever with a nice touch and wee through balls and stuff, reminded me a bit of Maloney/McCourt the way he'd touch and move the ball and looks one of those more midfield/playmaker type wide players if he plays there than like Kuhn or Jota.

But that should work well for us, because with Tierney we want a guy in front of him who is more of a ball player and creator.

Only thing is he didn't look that aggressive in terms of going forward and getting into or around the box, his role looked more the guy who progresses the ball forward but his team are mostly counter attacking which will be totally different to how we play. Looks good enough on the ball that he should be good in an attacking team, arguably more suited but for them he is usually the one supplying or dropping deep to link the play, then hovers about outside the box to move the ball around more like the way McGregor or Hatate do for us.

Once Jota is back he looks like he could replace Hatate.

He will be on the ball double really for us than what he was used to before, looking at his teams passing stats. Like he plays the role of Nygren/Hatate the now for them but only averages 25 passes per game where as they for us average 54, even their centre-backs only average 44 passes a game where as our average 113. McGregor for us averages 75 where their McGregor averages 36.

So he will be seeing far more of the ball and far more of it in the oppositions half.

Coming from a team who average 44% possession and 9 shots per game to one who average 75% and 15 shots per game and thats us quite low this season.

Might have a similar upturn in goals and assists as people like Armstrong, O'Riley, Commons, Mooy.

I'm happy we are getting Balikwisha, I've been pushing for him all year. I think he is even better than Jota 2, and he will rip a few teams a new one.
