See how other folk still cite Barkas as the example of why you can't trust YouTube videos? This boy will be my example if he turns out * hot. Honestly cannot see anything in any Youtube videos to excite me about him, but stats seem decent and @Belgian_lad seems to rate him.

TBF most of those highlights looked like his games in the Champions League for Antwerp. Probably for copyright issues his league clips were not included. There will be updated vids soon & we will all be on the Balikwisha bandwagon. Apparently he was * hot in the Belgian championship play off split.

As long as he stays fit, I am sure he will get his contributions for us. Was a big part in the Antwerp side that won a league, scored in a cup final when he was just back from injury. Far worse transfer we could have done in my opinion.

 

Seen a cracking defender/midfielder on YouTube. Has the best highlight reel of all time.. think we should go for him. Names ambrose

P.s. maybe I'm wrong because as times past, turns out ambrose really was the greatest ball playing cb of our generation. Only player to successfully dribble for fun out of Barcelonas worlds best press. Multiple times...

He can pick out a pass aswell. Always has his head up looking to involve a team mate, pressing looks good. Only thing hard to determine if he can beat a man properly from those limited clips. One thing Rodgers clearly must like him would be surprised if this was a club signing.

Hopefully get him and another (winger or striker) in by the middle of next week. Let’s them train with the rest of the team Thurs/Fri/Sat and hopefully get the nod to be involved Sunday.

Sinclair had a long list of experience at EPL level, had been at and featured for the likes of Chelsea, Man City, Swansea, Aston Villa and Wigan. Rodgers knew him personally, and his while his stats werent impressive in the EPL there was more than enough there at Championship level to prove he could perform for us. He also cost only three million, rising to 4 after performances, assists etc. It really was a no brainer.

Balishkawa is another kettle of fish entirely. He might have a season of CL football under his belt but his domestic assist and goal rate is actually really poor. His highlight videos, of the three ive seen, are woefully limited, and look like someone is trolling.
Even in the new video, which is admittedly much better at displaying his pace and acceleration, he still looks very weak in possession at times, and some of his decisions in possession look *.

Busting to be proved wrong like I was with both Griff and Giaki, and I totally understand the optimism as weve been literally mugged by the board again regarding transfers.

Fingers crossed whoever it is is so insistent on this signing at the club knows what they're doing.

We were first linked with Balikwisha 405 days ago. Now that we're in desperate need of reinforcements, we're going back to a long time "target" returning from an injury plagued season.

Not buying that Balikwisha is the best winger we can get in our price range. He's clearly near the bottom of what is probably a very short list we've got in a draw somewhere.

A few sack the board chants and it's panic buttons - Quick let's buy someone without looking too far because we don't have much time and haven't got that many to choose from. Balikwisha? He's played a few games in the CL and is Belgian. That'll appease them.

Like you, I hope I'm wrong and he won't be another lump of deadwood we'll struggle to shift in the future. He HAS to be better than Yang and a 34 year old Forrest, right?

 

The hilarious thing about this transfer, which is apparently "imminent" is that WE are the side that have "capitulated".

They named their price * donkeys ago.

Its either a return to pursue a player low in the list, a panic but because of the fan and media pressure, or a wage saving exercise by the board.

Either way they look exactly what they are; a bunch of incompetent twats without a single thought in their heads for either welfare of the team, nor the managers ability to his job properly.

 

The signing only got the go ahead once there team signed another winger earlier this week. So no exactly how your trying to paint it.
