I wouldn't blame him either just board wouldn't get suitable replacement they would go for Scott brown or John Kennedy as manger

Big Ange could get the Forrest gig, Rodgers is going nowhere, at least not until the end of the transfer window.

I fear the damaged relationship between Board and manager may be irreparable.

Theres no point in chatting the " no way is he leaving" pish.

    He obviously has previous.

In addition, what he says means the square root of * all. He chatted the same * before he ran to Leicester. Ange chatted the same * before he ran to Spurs. Christ, Lennon chatted the same pish a season before he quit and then joined that basket case Bolton. MoN too. "Best/ biggest job" patter all around.

The managers at Celtic have a shelf life, which is entirely down to how we operate in the market.

Every successful manager weve had has always thrown a bit of shade at the board, right before or after they up sticks. Whether its outright criticism of how we conduct our business, or wrapped in cotton wool in the "taken them as far as i can" patter.

Rodgers was delighted and in it for the long haul when he first returned; his epl rep in tatters and Desmond willing to play ball with him in the market.
Now theyve reverted back to type, its the same old story.

If Forest come in for him, he's gone. Simple as that.
Whether there's any truth to it remains to be seen.

But you can bet your bollocks to a barn dance he'll be totally aware of the talk and actively considering the "what ifs".

I said i would prefer him to leave at the end of last season. I have my own thoughts on his limitations as a manager that aren't shared by most fans on here.
But to leave now would be * farcical. And I wouldn't blame him one iota for it. Desmond and his board have * him AGAIN, despite whatever promises were made to entice him back in the first place.

Sincerely, if I was him, Id have my agents making enquiries, and I'd make sure every Celtic fan, pundit and punter knew why I was walking on my way out the door.

But he knew how they are. He knew what he was getting into again and failed to get securities from the board. He left because of the behaviour the board shows again so he can't be surprised.

I don't know what to think of a mamager who gets into that situation twice. He is either too naive oder an utter moron :giggle1:

Although any new manager should know how our board operates and if he is any good take precautions.

Hes been pretty adamant he will see the three years through so Im prepared to believe he will. Dont see him jumping ship mid season.

The only way that Rodgers will leave us for Forest is at the end of the season if they are prepared to wait that long with Nuno, he said that he will see out his contract and I believe he will this time.

If Rodgers wants more control of things he would prob do well to avoid Forest. Their owner seems to practically decide what team to pick and when to make the subs

    Yip.

He'll see the contract out and then he's off.

It would take something miraculous for him to sign up for more.
