This is where I circle back to the question of whether we are going to get in the players we need to compete at that level (and I quite honestly don't know the answer to that). If we have a team that can be competitive at that level, as we did last year, then I want "the top table" as much as you do! On the other hand, and this is where we differ, if we're going to go in with a team that's going to get bent over every week and finish on an embarrassing number of points, then "the top table" doesn't really seem all that appealing to me.

As for riches, don't make me laugh. We were in the CL the last two seasons and yet since he arrived, we've given Rodgers backing in the transfer market to the tune of around negative £50 million. Minus £51.92 million to be exact. That's our net spend since Rodgers walked in the door. Interestingly, we seem to have a very similar amount of money sitting in the bank. You'll excuse me if I don't get all excited about the riches of the CL and what it might enable us to do.

No, just because you pretend to support Celtic.

Each week of the past 6 has gotten worse. There are currently zero plans to change course other than to hope a squad thats lost 53 goal/assists in this year (kuhn/Kyogo), with £3m of replacements is gonna have to something its never done before and win in Kazakhstan

Fail to prepare and all that....

Well that's just a load of nonsense. Go through my post history and you'll see plenty of positive posts about the players, performances, etc.

Up until Leipzig last year, I said we looked better than we did under Ange (the favourite modern era of most Celtic fans), is that negative? Of course it wasn't, we were playing brilliant football. I enjoyed the vast majority of Ange's tenure too.

Unfortunately with Celtic at the moment there's a lot to be negative about. Am I just going be another happy clapping idiot? Am I just going to pretend that players like Adam Idah are remotely good enough to be at this club? Or how about how the club is being run? Ignore that as well, aye?

Those are the exact reasons why the club continues to fester in mediocrity and take the * out of the support. Most Celtic fans are absolutely delusional about how good we are or our place in modern football, I'm not and I want us to be better. That's the difference.

So see this "negative" *? Get it to *. I'm honest about what I see going on at this club, many aren't - or they're just incapable of it, which is even more pathetic.
