3 years is plenty for any manager in this day and age. Whoever it is I hope he brings a freshness and style of his own.

Rodgers is 100% away after this shambolic transfer window and nobody can blame him.

If Ange is still out of a job we should be 100% seeing if he would come back.

I would take Moyes as well. Think it's only a matter of time before he manages us.

    It’s not even September.

Come back and reopen the thread in May when we might actually know what’s happening.

Honestly mental even thinking about it. Especially when the manager market moves so quickly, every * mentioned will be in a completely different position come May.

I’m sticking a tenner on Broony.

After a run of Ange and Rodgers, next manager will be a cheap one that the board will think fans love Broony, how can they complain about it.

Only problem is competing with the wage he’ll be on at Ayr, might need to accept a wage cut for the opportunity to manage us

Not a good enough manager. Genuinely rather have John Kennedy in after the managers he’s worked under. Think now too he’d allow the club to source his signings.

we’ve seen how good Chris Davies has become, no reason Kennedy can’t do the same

That wasn’t a suggestion. That was who I think will be when Rodgers contracts up

It'll be sean maloney, no other reason to have appointed him that player pathway thing other than to take over next summer

I don't really get this, though.

If we are successful this season and Rodgers wanted to stay, why change it? The only reason managers don't stay around long in the modern era is they are either * or get a better offer. Rodgers isn't a * manager and I don't think he is that interested in going back to England this time.

If he wins a treble, another good season in europe, youd be daft to get rid just for the sake of "freshness" and risk getting a Diddy in. The only way he should be allowed to leave is if he truly has had enough after 3 years. Which, now, he probably has to be fair, with all this transfer *.

Any manager that comes in won't be as experienced, won't have taken us through 3/4 UCL qualifying campaigns, won't have managed at the highest level etc etc. I just don't see much attraction in changing things up for the sake of it.

Aye as long as they are successful we should strive to keep them. Bizarre thinking

Only need to look across the city to see what can go wrong. There's very few quality managers who suit the club to a tee out there for us.

    Does it matter?

Rodgers is the most successful manager we've had in modern times.
He's the most "elite" manager with a track record of it.
Admittedly maybe he isn't gonna be an EPL or a La Liga winning manager, but he sure as * is higher calibre than our club act as currently.

He's the manager we should be building around.
He's the manager we should be backing.
He's the manager we should be listening to and taking advice from.

The clubs a * show off the park and run in the dark ages.

If we can't back Brendan's * Rodgers - then it really doesn't * matter who the next manager after him will be.
Because they're not gonna be on the same level and if they are even close to it, the club will restrict them, stiffle them and force them out for daring to show ambition which may mean our club owners have to do some * work to spend the money that we the fans bring in to this club.
Be that from ticket sales, merch sales, ou passion and ambition that sponsorship deals are backed on. Without us, the club is * nothing.

But the club take us for granted and * on anyone within who dares to want to do things in a modern approach.

So again, does it * matter who the next manager is?

After Ange and him, it’s very, very difficult to get that sort of level in again even if I trusted us to do so.

Honestly scunners me that we’ve practically guaranteed no chance of BR even considering an extension this window.

I think this argument is heavily pushed by the people who wanted him gone 2 years ago and refused to change views after any trophy win. Then they can hate another manager

I think it’s heavily pushed by guys aware he’ll be gone but want to cover there ears saying it’s fine it’s fine that’s normal rather than recognise it’s because we’re run by unambitious wanks
