I know this is non-media links, but is there any actual credible links to any? I’ve not heard of any of them at all.

The mention of CDM however slight an appearance made there makes me think absolutely not though. The midfield options are the only part of the team except keeper I think Rodgers is completely happy with.

Possibly defence now JSP is here, with the caveat of another Lb is definitely something he wants. The GK, RB and CB options I think he’s happy with now. LB behind Tierney, a first choice RW and either a striker or a LW so Maeda can move up top.

Another LW is probably on the wishlist, even a loan until Jota is back.

Our back up LW and RW option is Yang. First choice RW is Forrest and the LW first choice is also our best striker. If Maeda gets injured suddenly everyone will realise just how drastic that situation is.

Vardy looks a cert. I think he’s a good signing more than most but that’s * mental if he’s the best option at CF, and he would be if he’s same level as last season with no pre-season.

 

How long would it take Vardy to get match fit? That's the question .

Missing pre-season has a big effect on players, never mind a 38 year old.

Vardy is odd but, he’s naturally been fit through his career, he’s never been the role model for taking care of yourself nutrition and off the pitch. It’s never mattered even last season at 37.

So who knows

 

Im quite sure a natural pro of that calibre would start scoring instantly. I think the rumour is BS though.

 

And also if vardy was signed and instantly played. That would destroy every piece of * Rodgers has ever said about not including players who have just signed, or allowing them to settle in and get used to the city/team

 

I don't know if this qualifies as a non media rumour as I am the source for it but my work shares a car park with the hotel the team are currently in and the players are walking about. There was a guy who I thought was Nygren at first but it wasn't him and I think I would recognise any of our current squad. He had the same haircut as Moritz Bauer when he was a Celtic and he wasn't wearing any club clothing. Are we currently linked with any blonde players?

"I don’t have a credible link to post but heard a couple of rumours from good source tonight (same source that told me last week that we were looking to offload Idah, which I know some folk doubt but I’d be surprised if thosemuch better connected on here weren’t hearing exactly the same from similar sources). So anyways, word is we are interested in the Danish guy from Go Ahead but we’re much more interested in Sweden at the moment, specifically Djurgardens. Two players in particular: Tobias Gulliksen who can play wing but is more a 10 for them, and the Japanese left back Keita Kosugi (who has been linked before). An offer went in and all seemed to be going ok until they realised that the number in said offer was in fact for both players rather than each. So a bit of a stand off at the moment. And the Romanian guy is very much a target. We think we’re the main show in town and other links mainly to try and drive up the price. We might get gazumped in the end but feeling our offer is the best they have as things stand."

 

I googled his name and Celtic and couldn't find any links. Anybody near the main stand tonight keep an eye out.

Players would generally only be introduced to the club when fees are agreed, medicals completed and contract signed. I find it unbelievable this could all be done without media in Scotland or in his home country being caught completely blindsided.
