I had just finished the lovely job of cutting a section of my lawn( 40 percent of it is wild flowers and grass:84:) when i heard the loud engine of a Eurofighter Typhoon which got me something else in the sky, only an * female Hobby flying quite low overhead!!! I rushed to get my binocs but she had gone!!:31: The 2nd Hobby I have seen this year and that was an * male over my garden as well this time while I was bring in the recycling bins and also I ran to by binocs but she had gone:56:

Whenever I scan for Hobbies with my binocs at hand in my garden, not a hint of Hobby!!!:31::56:

Anyway I am back in my favourite valley in Snowdonia on Thursday for a bird of prey outing. I hope to get 6 to 7 species of them and also other cool wildlife with a trip into that fine village butchers when I head home.

Thanks Bhoys, glad you like them :50:.
I went out on another sea safari this morning seeing as the fine weather is here for a while, i was hoping to get a few shots of the Dolphins in the bay but they were very few and far between, i asked the skipper why they were so scarce and he said a big Orca had been spotted in the vicinity and the Dolphins had fecked off out to sea, there was a few seabirds there to be photographed but the pitching of the boat made it quite difficult to get decent shots, things were getting really quiet when the Skipper pointed out a whale blowing and took us to get a better look and sure enough it was a Humpback, it surfaced a couple of times before raising its huge tail and disappearing, we also got to see a couple of Fin whales as they passed along the side of the boat, it was a bit disappointing not seeing the Dolphin pods but the sightings of the huge Whales more than made up for it, i'll post a few pics when i get them sorted :50:
