I think it's been entirely predictable he would be linked with us tbf I expected it to be slightly later in the window but if there is anything in it at all it just screams incompetence and panicking as the window nears closing

It is also a big difference on Idah's finishing and Vardy's finishing. Vardy is a world class finisher in the box and we would create a * load of chances for him. He takes care of his body.

Still not sure i am in favor of this though as its a "loss-loss" in ways such as if he scores a bucket load, it will be because our league is garbage and will cause lots of ridicule, and if he fails its because we sign over the hill players.

But who cares if he scores really, which he would. He scored 9 in the prem and a couple in the cups for a pathetic Leicester side at the age of 38 and he still looked young. Clearly a very very fit guy.

Vardy would at this point be on a couple of goals in the league and a goal in the cup for us already if he was here.

 

If our ambition was winning. The league and a cup here and there then it works. He's not a CL level striker anymore (if he ever was)

 

Btw a fun fact - Jamie Vardy's top speed last season was 35,44 at the age of 38. Thats faster than Daizen Maeda.

I'm surprised at the outrage and amount of reaction to an article that indicates literally nothing about us signing him other than some speculative "Rodgers would love to add him".. not to mention its the * sun of all rags
