I give you the Eddie Howe saga.. worked out in the end with Ange but that shows you how long we can take to sort our * out and that was with a full rebuild to undertake.

 

Should we close the summer transfer window thread too because it's an embarrassing conversation to be had as we won't sign any wingers? Or maybe close the thread on a board as its an embarrassing conversation to have that our board of directors will not support our manager? The writing is well and truly on the wall with regard Rodgers, I'd say the majority of our fans are resigned to the fact now that Rodgers won't be here beyond this season so I can't fathom out why you think a discussion on who should take over in that probability shouldn't be taking place?

John Kennedy is 100% our next manager ..worked his apprenticeship under Roger's twice big ange lennon ..how you think he was kept on ffs .especially when howe was almost appointed and was told that Kennedy will remain ..plus the board won't need any compensation to pay ..I've already accepted he will be our manager for next few years

 

Desperately hope it's a certain Brendan Rogers.
If it isn't, something is/has badly gone wrong.

If not, we'll inevitably be lazily linked to all the usual 'sellik' men
Robbie Keane - doing good things at Ferencvaros, still very inexperienced
John Kennedy - please * no
Big Ange - would never come back, he's aiming higher
Craig Bellamy - if Wales have a poor WC start, I like his approach

 

I'm talking about a very likely scenario we face next year that I think most fans foresee at the minute. Do you genuinely think Rodgers will be here next season given his recent statements?

 

It would fit the type of appointment we would make after Rodgers. A yes man who will feel beholden to the board as he's got a job he doesn't have the credentials for, similar to a Neil Lennon appointment. It's how Celtic works, insiders get jobs they are not qualified to do and they do what they are told to as they know they'll never get a job elsewhere of this magnitude.

Kennedy is a lifer, it doesn't matter whether he's any use as a coach or manager or not.
