    See if we have actually reached out on the back of that random suggestion he would be a good fit for us, that is mental.

    It calls him a winger, as far as I recall he is more an attacking midfielder.

    Barely played last year with injuries, he does look good but a lot of highlights is a few years ago and he already isn’t the quickest. Wouldn’t be breaking the bank for him.

    He played as an attacking midfielder when we played them I am sure. He was a big physical unit, scored that pretty tame free kick Hart made a mess off getting too.

    Was highly thought of at Alkmaar before going to ligue 1 and I don’t think he done much but he wasn’t alone in that quite a few players from Alkmaar moved on and flopped elsewhere, although some have really kicked on too like Kerkez, Koopmeiners and the big Centre back that just left Bologna.

    However Boadu we were linked to previously, Jesper Karlsson (who seems to be available would be a decent shout on loan to buy or even loan to cover Jota) and a few others struggled to kick on.

    It genuinely sounds like any sort of plan that was totally dysfunctional has gone out the window and we are basically touting about agents asking who might be available now given we have missed all the names on our lists.

    Stengs is very un-celtic mind. Since 21/22 (Ange's first season) we've spent money on one player over the age of 25 - Trusty (and he had only just turned 26)
