I think I might be the only guy on the planet that thinks that Itauma has made one almighty leap here taking on Whyte, every single prediction I’ve seen is an Itauma KO. Whyte is a dog, if Itauma takes him out early as most predict - he is the real deal at the top end of this division.

Mate, Dillian Whyte is absolutely no mug. That’s what I said.

Itauma is the real deal, but that wasn’t apparent prior to the fight at all.

Whyte is a major scalp for a 20 year old.

It’s the only sport where a loss or two suddenly makes someone * to a lot of people.

Absolutely this, that was * incredible. Whyte was a big step up, and probably thought of to test him a bit, and he absolutely outclassed and destroyed him. Whyte isn’t what he was yes, but he had no answers and he’s a very clever fighter. Couldn’t get inside, couldn’t go from the outside and everytime he tried to make a move the speed and power he was being hit with.

The pressure and killer instinct, even the wherewithal when he had him rocked in the corner most young guys go for the head wanting the knock out knowing it’s there, Whyte certainly expected that, and the body shots he got for that were incredible. Then he went back to the kill with Whyte having no clue what to do.

And he is not an easy guy to do that to.

Question is where does he go next? Does he go for another step up? Would an AJ fight be out the question? He showed enough tonight for it to be the next option for me.

As mental as it sounds, Turki wants him in with Usyk next. And what Turki wants he normally gets.

Ooft, that’s probably a stretch to far but it’ll be a learning experience if anything
