Celtic's Champions League Play-Off opponents Kairat suffered a rare league defeat on Saturday in preparation for their mammoth trip to Glasgow.


Despite the home side rushing to a two-goal lead against Yelimay Semey on Saturday afternoon, their visitors surged back with three goals to win 3-2 and inflict Kairat's first domestic defeat since May and just their third in 20 top-flight matches this term.

Head coach Rafael Urazbakhtin made five changes to the team that travelled to Slovakia for a gruelling penalty shoot-out win away to Slovan Bratislava midweek, with teenage star Dastan Satpaev only used as a second-half substitute.
