Not sure if they’d even sell but we should be looking at Harry gray from Leeds. 16 but gonna be an insanely talented player. Already tall and strong and it’s public knowledge how big a Celtic supporting family he comes from. Archie gray even mentioned it on why he joined spurs with Ange.

would have a huge resale value too back down to the prem after a few years with us. 2 years left on his contract but would they sell if we offered a good amount now? I’d be trying to sign him and then Bowie next summer also.

Another emerging player at Nordsjaelland, Prince Amoako Junior, left winger, looking like the next Mane, should be snapping him up quick

If we are looking for a like for like Kuhn replacement we should look at Rafik Guitane of Estoril. He is a 26 year old left footed right winger, like Kuhn his initial stats for goals and assists don’t jump out but for the past few seasons his numbers for creative passing, chance creation, xAssists, successful dribbles, volume of dribbles and possession regains in the final third are all very strong.

He is small but very quick and very technical. Former French youth team player and recently called up for Algerian national team through his parents.

He did have a loan to Braga last year with an option to buy but that went disastrously badly, I can’t seem to find out why but he done well in limited minutes when he went back to Estoril for the second half of the season. The loan to buy was €5m but I reckon he would be at most €3m now as he only has a year left on his deal.

This video of him really reminded me on Kuhn when playing well. Small, fast, mainly all left foot, can beat a man, and creative passer when coming inside.

Must have been linked with Benfica 18 months ago.

This is the type of scouting I want us to be really looking into, guy on the verge of a good move not quite worked out yet, not the most eye catching of stats of G/A but weirdly those stats aren’t the one’s that tell you much a lot of the time, and the underlying ones are like you highlighted.

From there you need to judge the attitude and mentality of him, most importantly. It’s something I just don’t feel we do, but * despair if we don’t.

It feels better with the range of targets and imagination of where to look for players under Tisdale. No signing them though, enjoyed that post mate:50:

Just over 2 weeks left now in the window so I don't see us concluding 4 deals - think it will be 1-3 with loans the most likely avenue. At this point its not a case of us moving for players we have scouted well and monitored, it will most likely being who is available so in terms of wingers I've had a look through the EPL and here of some of the names of players I could see us trying to make a move for. EPL can name a maximum squad of 25 so clubs with big rosters won't be able to include a number of players. They have similar rules to the CL in that at least 8 of that 25 must be homegrown but the only exception is players u21 don't need to registered no matter where they were trained.

Reiss Nelson - Arsenal (Could only see a dry loan taking place here as Arsenal likely look for £15m. 2 years remaining on his current deal and wages would be very high)
Andrew Moran - Brighton (Could definitely see a loan move being done here, potentially a permanent deal for maybe £5m but I don't know if he improves us in any way. Off the back of a mediocre Championship loan)
Jeremy Sarmiento - Brighton (Like above, it's probably a feasible deal and off the back of a couple of fairly unimpressive Championship loans, does he improve us?
Julio Encisio - Brighton (Think this one is a bit more difficult conclude, would put him a level the two other Brighton lads but I think he's a much higher ceiling and is a couple of years younger. Could only see a dry loan here and we'd never buy him permanently so I don't see the point but the board could opt for moves like this ala Simpson-Pusey)
Jeserun Rak Sayki - Crystal Palace (Never seen him play, huns were linked with him earlier on in the window. Apparently Palace are willing to let him go on a permanent deal for around £10m, we can certainly afford him but he is way above what we'd sanction. Numbers wise he is off the back of a couple of decent seasons in League 1 and Championship)
Jota Silva - Nottingham Forest (Forest just completing a number of top end level signings at the minute so he could become available, mainly featured for them off the bench last season but made 31 appearances. Forest paid €7m for him at the start of last season, he has 3 years left on his deal. I'd say it could take a fee of £10m or a loan deal for this to happen.
Emmanuel Dennis - Nottingham Forest - (A very feasible deal I'd imagine and would be versatile across the front line but I just don't see how we would offer us anything that would improve us, scored 10 EPL goals for Watford 4 seasons ago but his career trajectory seems to have taken a nosedive since. A hard no for me)
Patrick Roberts - Sunderland (Would probably be the easiest move of the lot, his wages would not be EPL level given he was signed by Sunderland in League 1 and has 1 year left to run on his current deal. We know him from being here before but his career has regressed since he was last here and I also think the Scottish game has improved significantly in that time. Sunderland have signed a host of players so I can see him leaving. He is the profile of player we are looking for to replace Kuhn but he'd be a big downgrade IMO)
Bryan Gil - Spurs (Not sure if he's currently injured or what his fitness status is but if he was fit this is certainly one I think we could get over the line. Burst on the scene as a teenager but his career has stalled badly at Spurs. A few mediocre loan spells back in La Liga haven't done much for him but he's 24 now and in the last year of his deal with not future for him at Spurs. Financially well within our reach so it would all really depend on his fitness. Definitely worth a punt if he's available.
Hwang Hee Chan - Wolves (Def the player I like the most out of this list. Comfortable across the attack and lots of speed, energy and craft. Apparently Wolves are open to letting him go, he came off the bench yesterday but I think if they get one or two recruits up top he will be off. He's 29 now so I'd say its an unlikely move financially for us to be spending the £10m or so Wolves might demand but he'd be worth it for me)

Sadly I think these are the kind of moves that we will be poking about deadline day for. I don't think our board are interested in forking out money as they think spending 8m on Jota in January was enough and don't feel we should be spending any more here when he is due to return early in the year.

I don't really either but I think at this point of the window its going to be players surplus to requirements we'll be going for rather than players we've been tracking.

I actually think the exact opposite. I think we have some verbal agreements already in place.

What are we waiting for if we have verbal agreements in place? Quite a risky game to play. Who do you think the verbal agreements are in place for?

I wouldn't want to say actually. I like surprises.

Too many people looking in here, who don't have our best intentions at heart.

Only remember watching him occasionally and been impressed when I have seen him. Not seen him regularly so someone may know more about him.

seen reports he wants out of hibs so surely with a year left and that being the case could be a cheap option as a wide man? Not a starter but we need cover out wide as it is. So potentially him and spend big on another winger?

He's lazy and not a youngster anymore. Doesn't start for Hibs, can't have him here.

He doesn't get in the Hibs team and he's *. Lazy, poor decision making, think alot of Hibs fans don't rate/like him.

    Naw, just naw.
You are putting some whammers up.
The only two I would take from Hibs are Bowie and Mulligan.
What was that other whammer you put up last week again ? Leighton Clarkson ? :giggle1:
