Needed to do something last night to take his chance. Didn't show much at all.

 

Think having him playing rather than Idah allowed the team to flow better. He worked better for the team.
Albeit I agree he likely isn't good enough to cut it as our number 1 or even backup.

Our striker options are bad this year.

Having him over Yamada and Osmand doesn’t make much sense to me….dont believe for a minute Kenny is some sort of electric goal machine in training.

Clearly needs a loan move

Motherwell would be a good plan for him, they need some goal threat.

 

If he can't do it for us with the service he gets from KT, Maeda and Engles etc then I very much doubt he can do it for another team

Bottom half of the SPL at best

 

And yet (or somehow) he has a new 4 year deal.
Hopefully Brendan sees something he's not yet shown the fans.

He's 22 and not from our youth system.

 

I lost count of the number of great crosses fired over on Friday which any half decent CF would have capitalised on but, like Idah, I just don't think he's got it just now and certainly won't do for the next upcoming games. He might come good at another team with less pressure on him but perhaps in the Championship and not the PL

 

He'd likely be a steal for almost every other SPFL side.

All things considered he seems to right work ethic and overall attitude. But just isn't at the technical level we need.

Would not shock me at all if he were to go to any other SPFL club and bang in 15 goals for them just because the pressure is entirely different over there. Kinda like Pukki in a way.

 

He might be able to do it elsewhere but he doesn't seem to have it in his locker to beat a packed defence. That's fine, but not at Celtic.

 

Thought there was some promise as a future 3rd option but nah.loan with a view to selling..

 

Needs a loan move to a decent level. If he kicks on then who knows but currently too many deficiencies to his game. Really like his attitude tho and that'll always see him improve so I wouldn't write him off just yet.

 

Think Kenny will benefit when the full composition of the squad is revealed come post transfer window. I like him, I think he will improve even more with better players around him now, and if/when the midfield is constructed better this month, there will be much better service and delivery to the strikers, Idah, Kenny and Yamada.

We haven't gave him a four year contract for nothing.
