Keepers like Hart and Schmiechal aren’t hard to get? Like, who would that keeper even be if Kaspar had to retire right now?

He doesn’t play like a young keeper, like at all. Last young promising keeper we had was Forster on loan, remember his first season? He had an incredible ability and save in him, but was nervy, had bad decision making, wasn’t confident for a long while. He saved a penalty against Hearts, then midweek an incredible double save against Di Natale then he gained that confidence in himself. And never looked back.

Sinisalo is just calm, concentrates and his positioning is excellent. Talks to the defence, not particularly like Hart or Schmiechal or that, but he talks to the defence all game. Communicates, and him not being shouty going mental at them like the two old pros mentioned, think that’s him listening to guys like CCV and keeping himself right during the game with the defence. And he does keep it right.

Infact, he’s one I struggle to think of something obvious to improve on to go up a level. Experience isn’t going to change his game much, just hoping he does what he’s got already better the more he plays

I think he’s gonna be brilliant for us. As mentioned sign of a good keeper is making everyone around them calmer. Irrelevant this but i can hear him shouting from the very top row of the Jock Stein upper.

What we have done on that year should be happening with Cal Mac next year. Although im hoping Kyle Ure smashes his loan spell and gets a chance, every game i have seen of him he has absolutely ran the show doing exactly what CM does.

I can't think of a time where he has made a mistake.

Biggest compliment I can give him is that when Schmeichel is injured, I have no fears putting Sinisalo between the sticks.

Honestly that’s now my only worry that he hasn’t had a mistake to know how he reacts to one :56::56:

Not even a worry, a curiosity. He seems quite unphaseable. You’re last points spot on. I can’t remember a time that we’ve had such a high quality keeper that I’m fine not available due tothe backup. Boruc and Marshall for a bit?

Honestly, can you point out something that is obviously a thing he needs to improve on? Improve what he’s good at already yes but something he’s weak at he needs to?

Really really * good for his age, not often keepers at 23 are that confident with everything. Can see he’s learning from Kasper as well with being vocal, he had a good go at Trusty one of the times near the end of the game for * about with it.

I’d give him more games than just the cup games.

I'd be happy with him as number 1. I expect Schmeichel will still be first choice when fit but I hope Viljami gets cup games.

Think he should be used much more this season and phase him in to be number 1 during the season.

Very commanding for such a young player he has all the attributes to be a first class keeper just need to play him more,

Said the same myself. He's the best keeper at the club for me. I like Kasper, and overall he's done well for us, but his career is winding down and he's just not as good as he used to be.

In what appears to be a complete tangent from most, I still don’t rate him.

    Massive drop off from Schmeichel.

He's still plenty to learn but he's in the right place to do it with the perfect mentor.

Would be happy to see him play more games in preparation to be our next number 1.

There’s zero evidence to suggest he isn’t ready to be our #1 when Kasper retires.

I don’t even mind him going to save the one Trusty gave him grief for. It was going out, but I’d rather he deals with it than one sneaks in.
