obviously those are players out of our reach of course but the trickle down then becomes huge as teams like Norwich in England instantly value their players at the English going rate. Rodgers having his own “expertise” in this market leaves us in a dangerous position where he wants players from there.

Like you say with the last bit. That’s the modern way now….but I feel Rodgers doesn’t want/like to leave that out of his hands. The constant negative comments about club signings and “value for player” is glaring as to what he thinks about it.

Thats one of the poorest oppositions we will play all year though. Not sure kenny or yamada really did anything idah couldnt do in that.

 

Really smart of Rodgers to rest him tonight, knowing that he's key to how we play and needs to be able to play the full 90 midweek.

 

They both looked arsed, if all our strikers are going to be useless I'd rather they seemed to care while doing it

We’re proper bitchy about him. Wish we never knew the transfer fee for him, we’d be happy with him, want another guy in as first choice but we’d be happy for him stepping in.
