Also feel whoever they sign now will be under immense pressure to perform on the pitch as he will be caught between the fans fury and the boards arrogance

We will do what we have done the last 2 summers.

Go into final week looking for 5 and be happy to get 3.

Tbh the defence as it stands if we can get a alternative to KT thats the defence sorted. I do think trusty will go but with we should get a LB/LCB.

Midfield could we be doing with a deep sitter to break up play aye but with 6 already there I dont see us doing anything again unless 1 leaves.

Its the front 3 its * poor. There is a probability daizen leaves. Jota is out to march worst case. Osmand and Kenny will go on loan.

That leaves shin, idah, yang and forrest. Now regardless of what competitions we are in we know we will have 8 league euro matches UCL or UEL, cup games and international matches our players will play appox 35 games between now and winter window opening. We need 3 in the front line, I would argue we will need 3 even if daizen stays, that would allow yang to move on.

I just feel we have given ourselves too much to do.

    This is exactly what happens.

It's unfair to expect anyone to hit the ground running when they join a club. We are a * joke.

I mean, that was anges thing. Every player hit the ground running. Why does it have to be different now. Yes id rather they had preseason, but I'm not having the excuse of time to bed in.

If we buy quality we've seen it happen numerous times.. Sinclair, Dembele even Antman across the road before it was coached out of him.. :56:

    Not ideal though.

Most of those players that came in then were in the middle of their season, so would actually be more match fit than the players already at the club. We get players in now from most other leagues they are going to be several weeks behind the squad in match fitness due to when the majority of leagues start.

Our fans do that to every player, regardless. It won’t make any difference in that respect

That’s not a new thing that either, I can remember the slaughtering about John Hartson signing, well known the Huns not taking him with his medical there and him not scoring for think it was 11 games.

Then there’s Ajeti coming in scoring 5 in 5 and being declared what we missed for years and that being all he done. We’re not a patient mob as a support.

*, can anyone remember the sheer despair of waking up hearing Griffiths was injured and we were needing to start that donkey Moussa Dembele before his hatty against the Huns? We’ll react to players like we always have.

And there’s a few that comes in knowing the reaction and them needing to hit the ground running, doing it, and announcing they’re here for a reason * the grumbling about them. Kris Commons was that.

or you could get the opposite who is as close a legend without being one, like Lustig who didn’t hit the ground running, looked * tbh. Till 6 months later.

Genuinely nuts we’ve not seen a single link in the past what? 2 weeks?

Time to just sit back and see what happens I guess. I’m done going mental for now.

We’ve signed the Man City defender on loan in that time mate.

Been alsorts of links. I try to ignore all the links until I hear we’ve signed a * and still seem to have heard alsorts of links.

They’ve calmed down to my mind since Rodgers called the board out. And by the end of the window we’ll find out if the reaction I think of that from them is what it is, which is a * you how dare you really. We’ll find out, but it feels that way

I mean we are a more attractive proposition if we're playing CL football..

If that was the strategy, wait until CL Qualification and then get a much higher calibre player in, then that would be risky but you could maybe understand it.

The thing is, that's not our strategy the only strategy I can see, is buy exceptionally low and punt exceptionally high.. which has swelled the bank balance so much we're actually getting hammered in Tax..

The constant failure to communicate any sort if plan or vision or even engage at all with the fanbase is beyond disgraceful. If they said for example, the plan was to upgrade the stadium and had to be very stringent in the transfer market we could maybe understand.. because its very difficult to work out why we're hoarding so much cash, it doesn't even make business sense.

I still don't think there's an excuse for not having a right winger in to replace Kuhn. At the very least.

The fact he was let go so early in the window suggests that we thought we could get something done before now, surely.

We are sitting here mid August still having not really replaced Kyogo, unless they want to say Shin is that replacement. Never mind Kuhn.

    Links is used very loosely.

Random Twitter accounts, badly translated blog articles and football insider don’t really count as links.

In terms of your trustworthy sources there’s been nothing apart from the ones we’ve been linked with for months now. JSP was announced on the 5th but it was confirmed the week before.
