    Or through the ranks.

Osmand isn’t one either case. Think that younger striker 3rd choice option is Kenny though. And fair play, start of the window we were looking to punt him, he worked done well in friendlies and got a new contract.

Osmand has came here and no doubt been told he has an opportunity to push for first team but it’s not guaranteed, and that’s quite right that.

Said it before and might be controversial but I don't think he will ever play a competitive minute for us. He will go out on loan a couple of times and that will be that. The demands are too great as we only play 1 up top and I can't see where he will ever get a chance.
    Hopefully I'm proved wrong though!

Brendan Rodgers indicated earlier this summer that Osmand could head out on loan for the season after an assessment in pre-season.

Osmand, however, won't be able to leave on a co-op loan because he isn't homegrown. He likely won't spend the season with the B-team, and although his inclusion midweek was predominantly for fitness and to improve his match sharpness, it does bring into question his readiness for first-team activities.

The list of players who had a successful loan and then broke into our team, like McGregor, is extremely short.

I would play this guy before Idah, no doubt.

If Osmand suddenly starts playing and is the main guy there our fans might suffer a mass aneurysm

That’s not so much controversial as odds on at the moment that mate.

Just trying not too be overly negative to be honest mate:56: but just think he was a pointless signing. No amount of Premier league 2 highlights would change my mind

I presumed he'd be getting the Kenny treatment early on. 10 mins, 15mins.. give him a chance and let him develop. However nah. Back to how we treat youth. Like *. Im suprised he signed. Must have been lied to.

Thing is, he barely appeared in friendlies or * all, which suggests when he got here he isn’t rated enough to get even that.

And it was shouted as a Rodgers signing, not a club scouting one or anything.

110% been lied too. Why on earth would you come here otherwise when we only play 1 up front and the demands are so high that we never give youth a chance anyway.
Fingers crossed we find him a good loan so his development doesn't stagnate. Always happy to be proved wrong

    I dunno, Kenny is 22.

When Rodgers initially spoke about it last year it was Vata who was 18/19. I think Osmand would be a better fit.

Kenny is at an age where he needs much more regular game time than our 3rd choice striker is likely to get.
