I don't have any inside knowledge on the dealings at Celtic Park, neither do you. If I'm clueless then so are you. This might be news to as it's the only reason I can think of why you made the post above, Celtic are a PLC and as such are subject to the rules, regulation and governance that I have cited.

I only comment on what's known to me and that's on how I make my judgements and appraisals. You seem to not pay attention to any of the facts at hand and that's what I'm calling out.

 

I don't have any inside knowledge..but I am a shareholder and do try and keep up to date with what's happening at our Club..

The power in the boardroom and the politics around it have been laid out before by people who do know..

He is the de facto controlling owner.. he owns 34% but if we take the AGM for example, he has about 60% of the voting power. If every other major shareholder turned against him he'd still have control.. it would all the small(fan) shareholders to combine and the turnout to be near 100%.. currently about 60% at AGMs.

So, basically any decision he wants goes through.

 

Someone saying weve bid £7.5m and its been rejected as theybwant £12m, lol, must be * hes not worth anything like that.

 

This might be worth waiting on. There's not a chance they'll sell him right now with their champions league qualifiers. If Bratislava lose tonight we could make a move, otherwise they'll wait till after they play us.

Aye we are that desperate for new players we would happily spend £8 million on a player who plays at a level were a 35 year old weiss can play week in week out and for a team that we absolutely pumped last year in the champions league

Stats are okay from last year but doesn’t look a striker that can dominate in the air & physically or rapid & can beat a man. Not worth anywhere near £7M.

 

Guarantee we buy him now, we’ll offer them £5 mil cos they’re out and they’ll take it. Nevermind him being * tho, least we saved the dosh

 

We tried to sign him January enough for him to think it was happening and it fell through, and it’s lingering rumours since then. Don’t think it’s a signing we want, and the ‘fell through’ when he thought he was signing is probably us not following through interest and * monitoring.

We’re not spending £7m all in this summer just now, if we did on this guy (which we won’t) I won’t argue about overspending
