We’ll need to hammer them at home. Absolutely run them into the ground so by 60 mins we can just bang in goals.

If there no signings by midnight on Thursday then serious questions need to be asked about the head of recruitment and why two of our best players last season kyogo and Khun haven't had quality replacements brought in especially with our healthy bank balance and again gambling £40 million when we don't need to gamble.

This reminds me of Young Boys game last season, easy on paper but when the weight of expectation is on you, especially with what is at stake, its much harder to get a result.

What will happen is we will sign 2 players and get one in on loan. But it will be mainly late in the window

We will qualify for Champions league, and get a positive result at the huns.

We will fight off a late bid for one of our top players, with the board thinking they have come out of this with a win.

As fans we will be annoyed but accept its worked out on this occassion and get behind the new guys and hope they can kick on.

But if thats not to work out and the Jan window is something similar its safe to say we will also need a new manager come the end of the season

I’d argue in this situation the 1st leg at home is a major positive if we can rack up a few goals

Some amount folk saying smash them first leg and rest players for the second. We pumped Astana 5 0 at Parkhead and the feeling afterwards was if we scored 1 more over there it SHOULD kill it and yet we still were sweating. We could win 10 nil first leg and I'll still no be 100% certain we're through

Fearing the worst here if I’m honest.

Expecting a 3 or 4-0 win at home against this mob is completely unjustified given we scraped by St Mirren with a deflected goal, about a week ago.

If we and huns lose out in the CL play offs they will be in pot 1 and we will be in pot 2 of the Europa league League phase

Pots don't really matter anymore tbf

Everyone faces two teams from each pot regardless of the pot you're in.

I would fear the away game a couple of years ago but our horrible away days are behind us for quite some time now.

We should see this one through in all honesty, but im worried that it will be close with the front 3 we have.

Exactly mate. How confident would you be going into this with Jota, Kyogo and Kuhn available to you? You’d be laughed at even suggesting it’s a banana skin given that.

Not only that, if you really want to kill the tie you could bring on the likes of Forrest and Yang at 60 mins to continue to run them right up until 90 mins.

Instead we’re at our bare bones playing our 3rd choice wingers. It’s really inexcusable.

The ridiculous travelling aside this should’ve been a great draw for us, but with the state of our current attacking options it’s going to be tricky. Even if we wiped the floor with them in the first leg we’ve seen that story in these qualifiers too often to get complacent in the second leg.

As with the other games we’re going to be heavily reliant on hatate and Nygren turning up.

I’m glad it was Almaty to be honest. Both them and Bratislava are poor sides, but Bratislava would know what expect coming to Celtic Park, whereas Almaty could come and freeze. It’s funny when folk talk about the travel, especially when Almaty have just done the trip to Slovakia and home again, then in a few days time, they will have to travel again for our game. So the travel is far worse for them.

Confident over two legs. I expect us to get battered in the group stage but no reason not to be confident against this team.
