League Cup Celtic v Falkirk The Scott Bain Derby Friday August 15th 7:45 kick off premier sports 1

  1. Agree, except I think we'll see Scales at LB

  2. I think McGowan will play too,

Would like to see Bernardo start in the 6, but can't see McGregor being dropped

  3. More likely Engels would replace him, Bernardo isn't good enough.

Some right sounding hun names for Fridays game

The match officials for Celtic's Premier Sports Cup tie versus Falkirk have been confirmed, ahead of Friday night's second round fixture at Celtic Park.

Taking charge of his first fixture involving Celtic, Lloyd Wilson has been announced as the referee for this game, as Chris Rae and Graham McNeillie will aid him on either touchline as assistant referees.

As for off-field duties, last week's referee, John Beaton, will be manning VAR, assisted by David Room at Clydesdale House.

So far this season, Wilson has officiated five games, including four Group Stage Premier Sports Cup matches. Two weekends ago, he was the referee for Airdrieonians' 2-2 draw with Ross County at the Excelsior Stadium.

  5. Are him, Tillio or Osmand even training with the squad to be included? Seems like they've all disappeared. One of them might just be behind a high chair mind.

  8. Can’t wait for this. If we don’t see Inamura play 90 minutes tho what a joke that’ll be. We know exactly what we get from KT and also know he hasn’t got 90 minutes in him at the moment!

Inamura 90. Sinisalo 90. Scales-CCV-trusty (if he wants a move leave him out completely) idah 45-yamada 45. McCowan 90.

rest basically picks itself as there’s no other options

    Sinasalo
    Ralston Trusty Scales Inamura
    Bernardo
    Engels McCowan
    Yang Yamada Forrest
I'd go that. Perfect chance for Yamada to get a goal or two, start other guys who haven't been playing much other than the positions we are limited in.

Should we expect a strong team tomorrow night then, just to get the boys up to speed for the European tie?

"It will be a strong team, whatever. You know, if I do make changes, I think that we've had players that have come back a little bit later, so they need to get up to speed. There are others that won't play. I also have to maybe think Livingston, you know, rather than throwing players in for maybe a first game there. So the team will be strong and I'll have a good bench if I need to affect it.

  10. So that’s him confirmed already Inamura won’t play. If Livingston isn’t a team a player can play their first game against, which team * is :87: Rodgers is * weird when it comes to playing players immediately. Some footballers at the top level go their whole time at a club not learning the language of where they’re playing haha doesn’t stop their quality.

Play the squad players. Let the board see what a few injuries will leave us with.

  12. Hope Shin starts to see what he can offer over a full game with better service, we'd pretty much taken our foot off the gas when he came on at the weekend but he still looked lively enough. If Inamura doesn't make the squad again knowing KT can't play a full 90 it's just bizarre after he showed so much positive forward play in pre-season, moving Scales to LB is an option if you want to sit off and keep it solid at the back but surely it can't be the only choice we have off the bench.
